The sequel is never better than the original, and I absolutely hated the original.
Wordle: three, my starter was FELON. Oh NYT how you have failed by not making this today’s solution!

Wordle in 4. I have noticed the New York Times does not seem to pay any attention to the date or the holiday, despite obvious expectations.
We picked up the trailer on Friday afternoon and pulled at home with very little problem. One of our concerns was being able to turn it around in the driveway but I managed to do that on the first try. It is a bit longer than the old trailer. We spent most of the weekend puttering around, making sure things worked and spending money.
An hour long work out on Saturday and because of such a took Sunday off. Because this is a holiday week, we have been given the option of working from home all week and I will probably do that.

The Wordle solution is rarely/never topical, but I really wanted it to be so today. Heck, sometimes I wonder if the editor(s) only know words beginning with two letters of the alphabet!
fairly busy weekend for us.
Saturday decided to walk to the Marietta Square (about 4 miles) and meet Allan’s parents for lunch at the Australian Bakery.
Noticed that Red Hare – the Still on the Square seems to have closed. No sign on the door or anything, just all locked up.
Sunday we roadtripped to Birmingham for a Celebration of Life of a guy I used to work with at Matson. Long driver for just a couple hours, but it was good to see his wife. Did stop at the Buc-ees that’s on I-20, that place amazes me how busy it always is. But – we needed gas, the prices are low, so why not. I did buy a couple coozies – because I could. We originally had planned to do a little hike at Oak Mountain, but it was crazy cold & breezy, so we changed our minds.
Besides that – watched plenty of NFL football.
And – does anyone care about the game tonight downtown?
Everyone we’ve talked to said – can both teams lose?
Haha. I drank at George’s yesterday, and was surprised to see so many Notre Dame fans out and about. My original intention was to drink at Moe’s & Joe’s, since I so rarely have, but it was filled with ND people, so I went to George’s.
I might watch a little of the game, only because It’s the championship. Like most people, I’m rooting for the meteor to take them all out.
I did watch a bit of the pro ball yesterday, only because it was real football in the snow. Was there a rule change for point afters that move it back to the 25 or so? I missed that.
there we lots of rule changes this year – I hadn’t paid attention to that
I just realized that thirty years ago “today”, MLK Day 1995, was the first day I was employed in Atlanta.
