I received an email about next year’s Bo Bikes Bama. In this email it said that the 2025 rendition will be the last one. I’ve ridden Bo Bikes Bama once, and was signed up for it in 2020 when it got cancelled along with everything else in the world. It’s usually scheduled the weekend following BRAG STU, but due to that being held early this year because of Easter, there will be more separation so I may have to try to sign up for its final ride.
Wordle: two, my starter was SLANT
Connections: perfect, Yellow > Blue > Purple > Green
Wordle in 4 and shouldn’t have taken that long. Nice deuce.
Friday, I think I figured out how to run the wire for the Starlink. Now to try my hand at fishing the wires.
Saturday was a fairly easy drive to Mooresville, NC. Lots of shoppers out, as backups around Mall of GA and lots of slow driving grannies were about. Shopping was required, as my dress shirt was not acceptable and Debbie needed a few things.
The funeral was a small gathering. As he had grown up in the area, old friends gathered to pay respects. We think Meg will be a bit lost without her dad to care for. The drive home was a bit of a challenge as it was straight into the setting sun through a good part of the 85 south construction in Greenville.
Funny from the trip- southbound, around Anderson/Clemson, Buc-ees has several billboards up, advertising the nearest outpost is over 200 miles away. The F’ers are clearly preparing to build one there and have already bought signs.

traffic was everywhere this weekend – but luckily for us – we were able to stay close to home.
Buc-ees is going to be everywhere soon enough.
OMG – busy weekend.
Gregg & Deb got here Thursday – Parrothead Christmas gathering at The Wing
Friday – day off work – went out & about early enough to miss some of the traffic – but not all of it. Gina & George (more house guests) got here mid aftenoon, then off to happy hour with some friends that couldn’t make the party Saturday.
Saturday – delicious breakfast/brunch at Red Eyed Mule – goofing off & getting ready for the party that right. Pork butt went on Friday night & cooked forever on the Egg – it was delicious Saturday night. Turkey on the Egg did not want to keep temperature & cook fast enough – so – we have a whole bunch of turkey to eat someday.
Party was approx 30 people, it was cold out, so the garage was crowded.
Sunday – we had 6 guests – so breakfast & then they all went home.
I’ve picked up a minor cold from all this – but I’ll survive.
Then Ramaho & Surly came to dinner last ngiht to help us with some of the left over pork – Green chilie pork enchiladas were delicious.
I slept about 10 hours last night – that NEVER happens.
and Paulie – we might, just might be interested in Bo Bikes Bama. I saw that it was the last year as well.
I will mention it again when registration opens.
Curious- did they explain why this was the last year?
I couldn’t find an explanation. Admittedly I did not try hard.
