Because I wasn’t paying I ate at Little Alley Steak in Buckhead last night. The meal was a gift from one of my friends for helping him out. What people pay for food is obscene to me. Don’t get me wrong, everything I ate, my entree was the pork chop because I couldn’t wrap my head around paying $60+ for a steak with no accompanying sides, was delicious. I am noting all of this for future Paulie, who will never again have stepped foot inside this restaurant, and will try to remember its name.

Wordle: three, my starter was REACH

Wordle is a work in progress.

After a frustrating day, I cleaned the valve cover to see if I could determine where it’s leaking from. I also tightened a few loose nuts, but no one needed more that a quarter turn and most were tight. I still had the burning when I arrived at the office.

40 minutes on the trainer- 2 back to back sets of 10, 30 on and 30 off at 105 and 110% of FTP followed by 5 minutes at 110%. I was cooked.

Fingers crossed, this is my last day in the office this year…

I had a $250 Little Alley Steakhouse gift card once, we opted to use it at a sister restaurant – Salt Factory – as I figured the $250 wouldn’t even cover dinner for the 2 of us. Yes – fancy steakhouses these days are super pricy. I’ll go if someone else is buying.

Speaking of over priced restaurants – went to Papasito’s last night – way, way, way too much money for Mexican food. It truly amazes me how crowded it is there every time we go there. Food is ok, nothing that spectacular. Margarita was tasty, but extra pricy too.

Last week, we went to the “good” Mexican place in Newnan.. I think it must be a “locals” thing. The food is only average, but we did see people we knew!!

There used to be a Salt Factory right next to the Madison Yards movie theater so we went there a few times. I thought the menu was aaaaalllll over the place. The food was pretty good, they just had one thing from like every type of cuisine.

I don’t remember much about the menu at Salt, but whatever we ordered was tasty. I would go back there. I just wanted to get out with spending the gift card, but not a ton more, if you know what I mean.

Did you hear that Torched Hop brewery is closing? You guys throw out the names of a lot of breweries so I am not sure if this one is on your radar.

Work dinner last night at Tio Lucho’s in Poncey Highland. It was delicious! I am definitely going back there. My boss was very happy.

    Green – Blue – Yellow – Purple.
I would have never gotten purple in a million years.

Wordle in 3 – had no patience, resorted to a little google help

The blog ate my homework today. Oh well.

    Wordle finally in 5!!

Debbie likes a good piece of cow, but I would much rather have a nice piece of fish. She had a filet at Knife and Stone Friday, so maybe it’s out of her system for a while.

  7. Long day of semi-tough WLF labor. I planted ten raspberry plants, ten blackberry plants, and three paw paw trees. Fingers crossed that I love long enough to reap the benefits of what I’ve sown today.

Also, used my little chainsaw to cut up some branches, and to take down a privet tree.
