  1. I couldn’t figure out why my sprinkler system in WLF started an hour early yesterday. Obviously I had the time change weekend wrong in my head.

Wordle in 5. I saw yesterday where several friends got 6. I tried a non standard starting word and got a 3.

Saturday, I decided a good ride on the scooter was in order. Your suggestion ((from months ago) of Yoder’s in Montezuma was the destination and it did not disappoint. Meatloaf, mashed tatties, baby carrots. broccoli casserole and blueberry pie! ($12) I chatted with the cashier, asking about the area and he guestimated around 500-700 folks in the Mennonite community. The bakery had lots of things I would have bought (pies and cakes) but cookies fit easily on the scoot. Hardly any traffic anywhere along the route. Over 200 miles for the day. My butt was tired by the time I got home.

My old Mazda 3 is officially off the payroll!! One of Debbie’s co-workers sons is the happy owner. A go-getter, could have graduated HS as a junior, is taking welding at West GA and almost has his certificate. The kid is going places.. now in a Mazda 3. And he could get a better price – $1.

damn, what a deal – I paid $5 for Mary’s minivan many years ago.

I think we sold “the beast” to Debbie’s brother for a buck as well. Last time I saw it, it was basically a planter in a niece’s backyard.

Pretty good weekend. Friday we took Finn to Kevin Rathbun Steak, which meant we were home by 8:00 and we watched a Great British Baking Show episode. Saturday we went to Horizon Theater and saw Amelie: The Musical, which was really great! I mean, it’s no Broadway level, but I thought the production was very good. Kevin fell asleep during part of it — LOL! Sunday I watched the Patriots lose to the 1-6 Titans, which was demoralizing as usual. I made pigs in blankets during the game. After the game I made my famous frozen cheesecake with chocolate graham cracker crust. With the time change I was tired so I went to bed extra early and got a glorious night’s sleep.

    weekend was pretty busy.

Saturday did the Alzheimer’s Walk at the Battery with a champagne tailgate after, and we watched cars sit forever not moving in the parking deck.
Then – stopped for Mexican on the way home, & Annette decided we needed margaritas.
I took a nap & did nothing the rest of the day.

Sunday morning was starving, so went to Red Eyed Mule for breakfast, Rock Hudson came by & (as I expected) didn’t really want to buy the Lime cruiser bike, he wanted Allan to look at his new mtn bike. It probably is a tiny bit big for him, but still. Head Nurse came by and bought my cruiser. So, we will still have 1 to sell.
Donna (Breaststroke) asked me to go to the Chastain Arts Festival with her to pick up this art piece she had bought the day before. Its pretty cool (& pricy). I wasn’t into watching whatever football game was on, so figured why not.

New York Times Tech Guild on strike.

The Guild is asking that readers honor their picket line by boycotting the Times’ selection of games, including Wordle and the daily digital crossword, and to avoid other digital extensions such as the Cooking app.

    Ummm, no.

      interesting group to strike.

We are the hares tonight for Moonlight hash – trying to get my shit together to go lay flour in a little while.
