I’ve ordered an E-Z Pass for my trip to New York. I know E-Z Pass can be used in other states as well, but I was uncertain the same can be said for my Georgia Peach Pass in the northeast. So, $25 well spent (probably enough for two bridge crossings) assuming the transmitter arrives before my departure two weeks from today.

For dinner last night I used up a jar of tikka masala sauce that I had in the cupboard with a package of super firm tofu cut into cubes, stewed with some peanut butter, bell peppers, and a hot banana pepper; the last two were WLF contributions. I ate some of this over white rice that I prepared using the InstantPot. It was really tasty, if I do say so myself.

During the past couple of days I’ve been reading “We Solve Murders”, the latest novel by BBC personality Richard Osman, who has also penned the “Thursday Murder Club” series. This book is an ebook loan from the Dekalb County Library System so I am trying to knock it out quickly so that I can move onto another ebook that I have on loan from the library.

Tonight I hope to get in one of my last Tuesday night rides, as darkness starts to encroach on our riding times, for this year.

Wordle: four, my starter was NAKED
Connections: perfect, Green > Yellow > Purple > Blue

    Wordle in 3!

After a busy day, it was off to the dermatologist where she froze off a bunch of lesions on my back. She had mentioned during my annual that they had a bulk rate for such work, as it’s not covered. For $200 I think she whacked about a dozen!!

The delayed air bags arrived yesterday and I sprung my plan on Debbie- the original plan was to install them on her truck while she was away for the weekend, but UPS foiled me. Hopefully, it will be an easy install on Friday.

Barb, we are go for TC on Thursday. 6-ish? Anyone else?

    • Waiting on some deliveries today from Jeff’s General Store (Amazon), and hoping the arrive on time.

I could consider TC on Thursday. It would give me the opportunity to have a beer at one of the breweries up there. I need to make more brewery rounds while breweries still exist.

Pulled Wordle off in 6 starting with GREAT. Connections: X, B, X, X, P, G, Y. Had to use a hint to get me started in Strands.

Another hot day and then I think we’ll get some cooler weather and hopefully some rain. My yard is pretty dry. Would like to clean out all my garden beds but the ground is so hard. Meeting a friend at Riverside Park this morning for a run. And yes, GUTS run tonight at Kennesaw. A double day.

Glad Barb and Allan made it back home, I might could make TC on Thursday. Would love to see D and S.

Busy busy week! I thought I commented yesterday but maybe it got lost. Or more likely, I got distracted by work and never hit submit. Anyway, our CBO quit over the summer so we’re doing a search and this week are all the in-person interviews, which last a half day.

We went to see Brett Goldstein on Saturday, he was so hilarious! You never know when an actor is going to be good at standup, but apparently he was a standup before he got cast in Ted Lasso. Great show! And the best part about it was that it was at 6:00 pm so I was home and in my jammies by 8:30. LOL!

I’m curious about the Peach Pass, I know it works in Florida. I wonder if it works up north too, hmm.

18 year anniversary gift is motorcycle right? Well I hope so because that is what I did yesterday 🙂 I put a deposit on a BMW GS 800 dual sport. Anybody want to by a Honda dual sport motorcycle? Steve, have you ever been to Blue Moon cycles in Norcross? It is a museum of classic old motorcycles, BMW, Indian, Ural, etc. There are some REALLY neat war era bike sitting around. Definitely worth a trip.

Outside of that we went bowling and to Mr. Taco for our anniversary. Who says romance is dead?

Put Laura and I down for TC on Thursday, it has been too long since I have seen you all. Will be nice to catch up.

    • Happy Anniversary, belated!

Will be good to share food and laughs with everyone.

I have been to Blue Moon..my old bike (1980 R100RT) was something they would work on, but I think the new bike they won’t touch. That collection is impressive. Reminds me I still need to go to the museum in Birmingham.
