Amsterdam: today we are doing a cheese and wine tour.
Still trying to plan my weekend. I will be staying until Tuesday because I’ve booked a non-refundable hotel for Monday night.
Wordle: five, my starter was CHAIR
Connections: perfect, Green > Blue > Yellow > Purple
Wordle in 4.
An 11 hour day trying to get the new firewall to be friendly with the old firewall. Perhaps our problem was with the old one all along. The vendor is clueless. Great. We will try and get everything back to normal Saturday. If we can’t get Sam to come in, that means no Miami trip and I’ll be here instead. F.
A quiet evening catching up on the end of yesterdays’ stage. Amazing there were no crashes in a rainy field sprint finish.
Maybe I can bail out of here early today and get my chores done. I was whiped by the time I got home last night at a quarter to 7.

Met a former co-worker for drinks last night at what used to be Ration + Dram on Arizona street. It’s the same place but they changed their name to Dead End Drinks. It’s a cool place! And the weather was amazing so we sat outside. They have a build-your-own charcuterie option so you can order the meats, cheese, pickles, olives, etc that you want. It was really good!
That sounds pretty good. And “Dead End Drinks” is a great bar name.
I don’t know about you, Steve, but I’m getting a lot of work done today. HAHAHAH!
HA! Like I’ve got a choice!!
Miami is back on. Sam is available to do the work here Saturday, which helps us keep knocking these projects out, otherwise, it would be after the Games before I could get back down. Granted, late October or November in Miami wouldn’t be bad, but I’d rather get it done.
I checked with the new vault project manager if I needed to worry about a hard hat and boots to take the tour. He said they had vests, hard hats and one size fits all size 13 boots! I’m there.
I’ve caught a cold or something- I feel like crap.
Sal & Paulie are out wandering Amsterdam.
Allan & I hanging here at the hotel.
This city is crazy peopley.
I changed our plane tickets to tomorrow (instead of Saturday).
Got 2 $335 eCredits.
That will help with paying for our part of the hotel Friday night.
Oh no, Barb! I hope you don’t have the cooties.. I’m sure getting back in your own bed will be a big help. Glad that worked out.
Ugh, that sucks to be sick in Europe! And the plane ride will not be fun. Hang in there!
