Yesterday I saw a blue tailed skink wandering around WLF. Sometimes I love the wildlife that I get to see out there.
Wordle: three, my starter was ACORN
Connections: perfect, Yellow > Green > Purple > Blue

Wordle in 4 and coulda been 2!
I came close to exercise last night!! Today will be the day- after my chiro.
The PT appointment was painful. We went through some baseline range of motion, then she started massaging the spot on my back which was essentially pinching the fat on my back. Painful, but effective. Gave me some stretches to do and I’ll see her again.
Anyone riding this weekend?
-FP
Might be raining on Saturday. Haven’t decided if I’ll hash Sunday or ride. Good for you for taking care of that back. Stretching is key.
Probably not riding this weekend. Sunday is Cinco de Mayo so I will be skipping the hash and drinking at an Irish Pub.
Allan is not working all weekend – ask him?
I will be riding but it’ll be a game time decision as to where and when.
I have a few lizards in my yard. Mostly the green anoles. Seems like mostly males though, as they are showing off their dewlaps. I have a few DeKay Brown snakes too.
Wordle in 3 starting with GRITS. Made a batch of grits this morning! :). Connections: green, yellow, blue, purple. Easy Strands.
Wordle in 3 starting with BITCH. I’ll leave it at that.
For some reason that made me laugh. Hope it all works out though.
Thank you Sally. Same shit, different day. I have issued a suitable response.
We ran some errands yesterday and then went up to Kennesaw to a pizza place where a friend was singing.
$2 domestic drafts & 1/2 price glasses of house wine – so it was a cheap evening. Upside & Seated got me a $5 each back too. A friend used my Seated referral code – so I got $20 from her using it. I’m up to $77 on that app – might have to get me an Amazon gift card soon!
flying to Iowa way too late on Friday night – flight Departs at 10:50 – arrive 11:50pm. I keep telling my brother I’ll figure out a uber or cab, but he says he will come get me.
That aircraft will be the first one out the next morning!
oh, the plane comes back to Atlanta at 0600am.
but -with this short turn around, I guess the flight attendants have to spend 2 nights in CR (& a day). I know the pilots have always had to, but not the flight attendants.
Still dealing with protests and demonstrations on campus, which meant I didn’t get out of work last night until 7:00. I had planned to make white chicken chili for dinner but by that time there would not be time to make it and eat it before Finn’s bedtime, so we went to Surin.
As of yesterday Xfinity no longer carries the Bally channels, which means that all Xfinity customers cannot watch the Braves games. Kevin is distraught. He went to The Big Game yesterday to watch the game, but WTF?
But think of all of the time that will free up? 😉 Seriously, though, I last had Xfinity almost 20 years ago and never ever will be still be too fucking soon to get punished by them again.
The main reason why we even have cable is to watch sports!
this is why we still have At&T Uverse
Just returned from a litter walk, which sadly started at my curb thanks to the shitheads who threw out their Dunkin Donuts napkins and receipts onto my street. Also sad to say that I managed to pick up and entire compost bag’s worth of litter this morning. Humans are disgraceful.
I first read this as LITTLE walk (like, maybe you were just going a short ways) then I realized you typed Litter. Made more sense then
Wordle in 4 –
1st word ACORN, 2nd word BITCH – almost had it in 3. Damn last letter options.
LOL
Allan bought a regular jalapeño plant at Ace, and a Mammoth jalapeño plant.
I wonder how big the mammoth ones will get?
I had good luck with the mammoth jalapeño plant I bought at Lowe’s last year, and bought another plant this year. The peppers produced were large, about 1.5x larger than a normal pepper. I suppose a lot depends on the soil and amount of sunlight.
