It was another decent day in paradise, except for the plumbing. In which house am I, it’s hard to tell?
After meeting with the lawyer the day was spend doing chores around the house. The three of us went to Costco where we bought a rotisserie chicken to eat as part of our valentine dinner. We then watched a movie called “The Super” from 1991 starring Joe Pesci. My brother and I spent some time scrolling through the comedies offered for streaming on Peacock, my word are there a lot of movies I’ve never before heard of.
Wordle: four, my starter was GLARE
Connections: perfect, Purple > Yellow > Green > Blue
Wordle in 4 starting with STAIN. A hiatus on Conniptions.
Busy at work, which may slow down in a few weeks. And got another task that went to the top of the list yesterday, at least trying to get it scheduled.
A half hour “run” yesterday followed by a nice dinner by Debbie for VD.
Chiropractor at noon for a spot on my back I think my be a bulging disk. We shall see.

Ouch. Good luck at the chiro.
Of course you got Purple first!! 2 mistakes for me: Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple. 5 in Wordle starting with Bagel.
Mia and Emma going home this morning. Their parental units are flying back from Hawaii.
Working all day. Not much to report.
Oh yes, I had the purple solved as quickly as I could tap the tiles! 🙂
Kudos, Paulie. That grouping was a little too obscure for me. I’m waiting for 70s bands to show up. 😉
Yep, in my wheel house.
Bob I thought of you-

So teenagers have been assholes since the dawn of time! LOL
I was talking to Laura about this last night. I love Travis and am very proud of his accomplishments. However, he can be a real asshole!
Sooner or later they turn into assholes, good thing yours is doing it early. Mine was sweet until about 16 or 17, we thought we had dodged a bullet. Nope.
Wordle in 4 starting with CRAZY. 1 away on Connections.
After agonizing over chapter 4 for weeks, I banged out half of chapter 5 yesterday. Glory hallelujah!
I’m reconsidering Yosemite next month, it would my luck to get snowed out. I’m looking at Sequoia and Death Valley instead. I was approved for a lifetime national parks pass yesterday compliments of my military service. Next up is to get a free veterans driver’s license and license plate. I might still do Yosemite, I’ll just await until the last minute to book anything since it’s the off season.
Well, I’m bummed. The group we had season tickets with for Atlanta United decided not to do them this year. Oh well. I am looking at it as giving us more flexibility. Also, the schedule this year is not great. So maybe this is a good thing!
Bummer
Wordle in 3 but I cheated. I should just put a * next to the number when I seek help. So Wordle in 3*
One mistake in Connections, I got 3 of the purple category and had no clue on the 4th.
Went bike shopping yesterday and may have found a deal for a nice road/gravel bike. Looking at 2 bikes, one has electronic shifting but I can get the other bike AND a second set of wheels for cheaper. I’ll pull the trigger soon so I can start getting ready for BRAG.
JUST REMEMBER- gotta keep up with the batteries or charging with all the fun electronics on bikes.
I think- we could we go road ride – then I have to think – is the bike charged?
e-bikes? When did my friends get old? 😛
Just a little FYI – electronic shifting isn’t an E bike. you just have to be sure the battery isn’t going to die – or – you can’t shift.
And that’s why I’ll never have electronic shifters, because I can’t even keep my head and tail lights charged. 🙂
Yeah, I know they are different…
Just ask Steve about riding a fixie after the electronic shifter battery dies.
Probably not going with electric shifting. Like Stan says, cables never run out of battery 🙂
Plus, if I go with the cable shifter bike I can get a second set of (carbon) wheels and still pay less than the other bike.
I feel like I just go in circles here in Iowa.
today I need to get some laundry done, I probably need to get to the grocery store, but I’m fairly busy with work.
Yesterday the 1 day a week “right at home” lady was here – she is great with mom & dad- got Dad dressed, did a lot of cleaning. I need to call her office & let them know she’s very good.
My uncle came over & brought communion & ashes for Ash Wednesday – he’s finally figured out I’m a heathen & doesn’t even offer any to me. 😉
Once he left my brother said- let’s wash those ashes off their foreheads.
Mac n cheese for dinner – was perfect – I’m getting tired of cooking & everything.
I fly home tomorrow morning.
Safe travels, Barb
