It was a busy morning yesterday. As I mentioned, I ran errands. Last night I joined up with a few guys for the weekly ride from CVS in Decatur. It was one of “those” nights where people around us seemed to be trying to interfere. We had a car honk and pass us at high speed as we rode up Springdale toward The by Way. We had a guy stop in the middle of the sidewalk outside the Botanical Gardens and impose his “duty” to get in the way as he informed us that “people walk here” (no shit asshole, we have eyes). And then there was the car that pulled a u-turn in front of me at the Botanical Gardens entrance gate as I was going downhill and exiting through to closed middle exit gate, forcing me to hit the brakes hard. My body was mostly fine, though I did “feel” my right knee more than I wished.
Not much planned for this weekend. I am hiking on Sunday with the Meetup group mention by David waaaaaay back in January. It’s amazing that it’s taken me over nine months to finally sign up for one.
I solved today’s Wordle in four attempts; my starter today was TINGE.
No mention of decluttering today because it was another week in which I did a poor job.
Perfect Connections.
Wordle in 4, I looked at connections and never got a clue.
We were puttering around the man cave last night and I spotted Fig out loose. I had secured one hole under the fence she was using to escape, but apparently there are many. More fun.
The disc is now reassembled and mounted on the tractor. While the front end loader wasn’t able to pick it up in one piece, the rear hydraulics don’t seem to have any problem. I’m just missing one connecting link and I’ll be ready to go. The seed is here, now all we need is some rain.

Wordle in 4 starting with LIGHT. One mistake in Connections. Menopause The Musical was hilarious. So fun. They are going to do a sequel in April. The weather is finally getting cooler. Just in time for our GUTS races this week-end at Fort Mountain State Park. It’s always a pretty time of the year to be in the park. Not sure if the leaves have started changing yet or not up there. The new owner of Strider is dropping him off at the store this morning so we can have some play time with him. He’s had all his shots now. Hope everyone has a fun and productive week-end. Get outside!!!! I see big BRAG registration is up now too.

Massage was excellent, as always. Meditation was last Sunday. This Sunday I’ll be in Knoxville to hang out with two of my best friends from high school. I’m doing a 13.5 mile hike with one of them on Monday.
Oh, for some reason, which doesn’t make sense now, I thought this coming Sunday was the first one of the month.
The class is the first Sunday of each month.

We were supposed to have an actual adult dinner at Little Bear with friends last night but Finn had a meltdown so we couldn’t go. He’s usually such a happy kid but he chooses the one day to freak out! Just kidding, he’s a super sweet kid and he can’t help it. He got over it and we went to Surin for dinner.
We are heading to the cabin for the weekend this afternoon, I am so looking forward to some down time. Monday we got tickets to the NLDS game 2, should be fun!
A weekend in the mountains does sound good. Not too cold, not too hot, leaves starting to change…

One mistake in Connections and Wordle in 4 using STEAL.
Out working WLF. So much for crop rotation saving my cucumbers. I picked a nice one this morning, and was able to see (and kill) its worm resident.
Whoa. Saw a trailer for something called “Fingernails” coming to AppleTV next month, and it has the guy from “The Bear” in it. I might have to watch to see what sort of actor he really is.
Now starting Season 2 of “The Morning Show”.
And it has Annie Murphy from Schitt’s Creek! Totally going to watch that.
