Contemplating registering a domain name like “AnotherAtlantaAllWayStop” due to the infestation of the in the past year. Another one gets erected today on Flat Shoals just south of EAV. I’m sure it will be as ineffective as most of the others put up this year.
Friday we went to George’s to watch the Braves game. They won Friday but lost the series on Saturday. Oh well, it was a good season. Saturday we did errands and stopped at Pure for lunch; the manager got a new job and it was his last day so we wanted to say goodbye to him. Then we met a group of friends for dinner at Highland Tap, which was amazing as usual. Sunday was super quiet, I never got dressed and watched TV all day. Glorious.
I hope the Games went well for Steve and that David is having a wonderful time in Costa Rica!
¡Hola, amigos! I’m back to reality, and will post a Costa Rica mañana. It was as amazing I’ve always heard.
can’t wait to hear your review
Woot!
busy weekend up here –
Friday night hash happy hour at the Delkwood Grill – just up the street, so I didn’t have a good excuse to skip it. Place was packed (it usually isn’t) so service was slow (they didn’t have enough staff), but our server did as good as she possibly could.
Saturday went to a electronics recycling event up here in Cobb, got rid of most of our old shit, 3 monitors, a printer & a computer, and a bunch of cords. WEent for a walk (reccy) for Monday night’s hash with Kevin & Allan, found a new restaurant called Prickly Pear that had a very fun bartender – so we have an ending for tonight.
Saturday night Paulie came to visit for dinner – the pork carnitas turned out well.
BTW Paulie – the 2nd avocado is making a great topping for some toast this morning.
Sunday morning I showed Ramaho the trail by car, her ankle is forever messed up, so now Tammy (IMB) & I may lay the trail without her if it isn’t feeling better today.
Sunday afternoon was the Marietta Wine Market Expo – we tasted a lot of wine & decided we needed more wine – so we filled out the form to buy a bunch. I have no idea how many bottles we bought – 2 of this, 3 of this, 4 of this – we will see when they call or email us about the order.
I’m not hungover (surprisingly) today, I guess drinking a gallon of water last night helped. 🙂
Hello from humid Mississippi! I’m on my way to New Orleans.
It must be October, the M6’s TPMS fired as I was driving down I65.
Wordle in 4 starting with AISLE. I had 4 of the 5 letters in the 2nd and 3rd attempts with none of them in the right spot. That’s a special talent right there.
I went to the Games on Saturday and the crowd was insane! They were parking people on the grass behind the corporate offices by the time they were done. All the lots were slammed full. It was a lovely day for it!
Yesterday was low key. Just puttering around with horses and dogs and playing farmer with the last of the grass seed. If we could just get a few days of soft rain, we’d be set.
My TPMS monitor has been on for a couple weeks now. So annoying! I think I’m going to do a Penny from Big Bang Theory and put some tape over it for the winter.
Can’t wait to hear the tales from Costa Rica. We need to put that on our list of places to visit.
Parked on my AirBAndB’s street, behind a Gwinnett license plate. Dangen, I can’t get away!!! I’m surprised it doesn’t have a hash foot sticker as well…
