    New blower part installed, fan above the stove is all fixed. Best customer service (warranty) I’ve ever experienced. I guess spending the big bucks on something does have it perks.

    Debating on going to hash happy hour tonight – its right up the street at the Delkwood Grill.

      Don’t know what my day holds yet. I could work WLF, thought about and decided not to go for a hike, could do a bike ride later, contemplating Happy Hour. My day is my oyster, which is ironic since I don’t like oysters.

      The hood above our stove hasn’t worked in like three years, but I keep forgetting to get a new one. Truthfully I have a plan in mind to freshen up the kitchen early next year, and I’ll wait for that.

        I like the light especially – and the fan is pretty quiet, even when on the highest speed. We need that fan for the way I cook sometimes. 😉
        BEST/ BROAN is the brand we bought, it was pricy, but I think worth it.

          I am okay with pricey if it means it will work for a long time (at least as long as I live in this house)! I miss the light, and sometimes we have to open the windows when I’m cooking. Our stove is on its last legs too, so we’ll get that, the hood, and then new countertops. A little re-fresh for the kitchen!

    Working from home this morning because my boss is out of town! I have meetings in the afternoon so I’ll go in midday. But it’s blissfully quiet here in the house with just me this morning! I’ve already done Duolingo and am therefore superior.

      Did you ever get the single-path update to Duolingo? On Wednesday Betsy said she started after the update and is enjoying it; she’s on a sixty day streak with French.

        Nope, still the same Duolingo it’s always been (with that slight tweak about 6 months ago). Yay for Betsy! Maybe someday she and I can have a conversation. I’m currently on day 271 since I took those dang three days off around Christmas. I won’t do that again!

    Brr! It’s chilly out there! I see that temperatures *may* dip into the low thirties whilst I am away, more incentive to keep cleaning up WLF this weekend as many of the crops out there won’t withstand those temperatures.
