Though I am leaving town tomorrow I think that I will start my relearning of coding in an effort to be employed again in 2023; I am going to want/need the income.

I solved today’s Wordle in four attempts; my starter today was TREAD

    No time like the present to get started.

    Wordle in 5 with WREAK, Mini in 20. I could have gotten it done faster but I felt bumbly last night. New Mini drops at 10:00 PM every weeknight, 6:00 PM on weekends.

    Home from doing a massive amount of laundry. I need to put it all away before I can decide what I am bringing to Columbia this weekend.

    Yesterday’s Wordle in 3! Yay for breaking the 4 streak.

    The pitiful Red Sox season ended with a sweep of the Rays. So glad to be put out of our misery. There will be lots of player changes over the off season.

    I also need to buy a new TV that is compatible with the MLBTV app. The app updated last off season so I haven’t been able to watch games (except on my ipad) this entire season. Then 3 days ago Hulu sent us a message that it is no longer supported on our TV either. WTF?! This TV is from 2015, how does it not support Hulu?!

      Well, that’s bullshit that smart TVs age out after a few years. No wonder I’ve resisted getting one of those.

      As someone who used making a living writing apps… it may be that the new version of the app uses libraries that were not ported by the tv manufacturer. However, imho your app should still run without new features until you buy a new tv. This is one of the reasons I still rely on an AppleTV box for my streaming needs. Yes, Apple has made some of their older boxes obsolete, but it’s cheaper and easier to replace it than it is for a tv.

    Think I will head out for a ride this afternoon. Trying to decide if I will ride the road, or mountain bike. I should probably work in WLF today as well, mostly doing cleanup. A fall garden is looking unlikely this year.

    Just back from a twenty mile ramble on my mountain bike. While headed toward the path on Freedom Pkwy I noticed artwork being installed, specifically the piece that my neighbor has been working on recently! She was one of the people installing it, so I stopped and said hello.

    Wordle in TWO starting with AISLE. That’s twice this week. I should buy a lottery ticket. Mini in :28

    The animals have racked up some serious vet bills over the last two weeks, but everyone is either fine or on the mend. I guess I better keep my job! Things on that front are really heating up. It’s one of those situations where it’s going to get worse before it gets better. I’m just hoping to get through it unscathed.

    This weather is HEAVENLY!! My fingers are crossed for some rain next week, but the temp is perfect!
