I have fallen victim to purchasing on Amazon Prime Days; at least I only ordered things I (sorta) need.
I solved today’s Wordle in three attempts; my starter today was DRAFT
Tuesday Tale of the Tape: 185.4 pounds (-1.0 from my weigh-in two weeks ago)
NYT Mini Crossword in 33 seconds.
Heardle fail. I need a Heardle with genre selection because there is too much music out there that I have never heard.
I’ve actually heard of that song once it got started today, but couldn’t name it by the 1st few seconds. or know the name of the band.
Mini – got interrupted by work, but wasn’t doing well anyway.
I don’t even look at the Prime Day stuff. Nothing to see there.
Wordle in 5 starting with LEAST, NYT Mini in 40 seconds, Heardle fail.
If you want more Heardle choices you can pick a decade:

90’s: https://www.90s.heardledecades.com/

Should’ve known they were out there… 🙂
I had things on my Wish List, ordered the, whether or not they were “on sale”. I purchase a few things that were “on sale” but they were things I have been considering, like trekking poles. I’m using up the last $140 of the $550 I earned a handful of months ago.
I may have to start playing the 70s & 80s Herdle games – I may have a CHANCE then.
For me 70’s usually like shooting fish in a barrel. 80’s is somewhat of a wildcard. I usually do OK with 90s, 00’s is totally a crapshoot.
I had 4 of five letters in 3, and it still took 6. Ugh.
Sitting at the ophthalmologist for a visual field test. This is a retest of my right eye after flunking the test a month ago.
17 on the CX bike last night. So cool out, i could hardly pass up the chance to ride.
Games meeting tonight. I guess its going to happen.
Mountain finish for todays stage. Should be fun!

Passed with flying colors. And I didn’t even study!!
good job on the eye test!
got Wordle in 5, and just like you, and 4 of the 5 letters in 3.
Woot!
In from a few hours of sweating in WLF. Have harvested more cucumbers, one long eggplant, one okra pod (the other two harvested were too long, this woody), a couple of radishes, and three small carrots. Trying to figure out how to incorporate these, except cucumbers, into lunch.
Allan is out cutting the grass, the big Captain’s test is finally this Sunday (on my birthday) so he’s kind of on edge with the final studying. I know he will do fine, but he still has the expected anxiety about it. He should be in later all sweaty.
Everyone leaves today – flight is at 5:50pm, the kids health stuff is annoying, since the vaccine rules aren’t as cut & dry. Katrina printed some stuff & will have to talk to a gate agent.
Wow, that seems like a brief visit, perhaps not for you? Lol
I also know Allan will do fine, but anxiousness is not unusual.
If it’s as humid in Marietta as it is ITP he will be drenched.
6 days with grandparents (for Katrina) is enough. Plus, Kevin’s not here – so as an in-law, I totally get it.
3 teenagers get bored, and are as much work as when they were smaller, and the activities to keep everyone busy are not the same at all. With it so hot & humid, it limits what anyone wants to do.
WordPress taking its sweet time to deliver an email when you comment today.
Wordle in 3 starting with WOUND.
My baby horse has, you might have guessed it, a wound. He’s ripped half his eyelid off. Waiting on the vet to come and see if it can be stitched.
I’m trying to deal with him. The dogs are barking their fool heads off at the barn cats. And my back is getting completely agravated. Happy f’ing Tuesday. I’d say it can only go up from here, but the x-rays of my back are at 2:00 and I’m a little anxious about what they might find. It feels like something is tearing every time I move wrong.
I’m going to drown my sorrows with a tomato sandwich – they make me happy!
at least you have tomatoes!!!! we had to buy some from a farmers market stand.
Hope the doctor tells you something that isn’t going to take forever to heal.
I think buying some from a farmers stand is my next move. There are some green tomatoes out in WLF but I have little faith that I will get to eat them.
Oy, that stinks. Good luck with everything.
I had tomato sandwiches last week, with the tomatoes I was gifted.
My lunch wound up being “chicken” nuggets with boiled potatoes (WLF), radishes (WLF), and an ear of corn. It was surprisingly delicious.
Dang Debbie! Hang in there!
the Spain Groves should be at the airport talking to a gate agent about now. I can’t imagine trying to get everyone organized & the website crap for Covid info. They used American passports to come here, but now are using the German passports to go back. I was so confused as Katrina told me what all she was doing.
I really can’t fathom traveling abroad these days, never mind with a group playing a passport shuffle game.
They got thru everything really fast – went super smooth. now they have too much time to waste at the airport.
Even though we just all had Skyline chili, I see them wanting to get some Chick-fil-A or something.
