    Missed yesterday since I took the family skiing up at Cataloochee, good times had by all! As expected, Travis picked it up right away and did awesome on his first time ever skiing.

    Paulie you made the right call missing wheelhopper, there was a ton of climbing so your knee would have not been happy. Have a good trip to Florida.

    David, really sucks about your broken arm. I hate you had a bad experience. Hope surgery goes well and you heal up quickly.

      Thanks, Bob. My reflexes got the best of me when I grabbed the brakes and that’s all she wrote. I’m glad I took the class, I would have done far more damage to myself had I just bought a mountain bike and went for it on my own. I won’t ever mountain bike again, it’s just way too different from road biking for me. But I’m glad I tried it. It’s OK that I got hurt, every day we’re always one step way from injuries that we keep dodging. At least I didn’t trip over my cat and break my neck on the stairs at home or something. I was out there. It’s all good.

        Sorry you got hurt but love your attitude and desire to try new stuff. I grew up riding bikes so it came to me pretty easily, I’m fortunate that way. I can see where learning later in life would be difficult.

    I made “healthy banana bread muffins” this morning. They’re just okay, but I’m okay with that because they’re healthier. Look at me baking! Have a nice trip, Paulie. WHAT AM I GOING TO DO WITH MY WEEKEND?! Bwah ha ha!!!

    Yesterday was a boring day, except on of my co-workers turned in his notice. Transportation just burns people out these days, he doesn’t have a job lined up or anything. I hate he’s quitting, he knows a lot of stuff I don’t know. But, I totally get it.

    Today is National Margarita Day……… hmmmmmmmmm

    I sorta wasted a trip to “the city” yesterday. I went to the new Outback Bikes in Hapeville. It’s as big as the old store on Euclid, but limited in services. It’s basically the warehouse. They do have the new rental fleet (who knew?) and some overstock inventory. They had a rental fleet in the before times and as the Covid hit and inventory dried up, they had demand from essential workers who were trying to get to work and couldn’t take MARTA (too much risk). They sold the rental fleet at cost to those folks. Just now able to reestablish the fleet. Kate and Pete are good folks.

    As they couldn’t look at my road bike, I just bought some stuff and returned South. I did drop the bike at the local Trek dealer in Newnan and they will have it back tomorrow. Support your LBS.

    Lunch in downtown Newnan was a delicious calzone and a beer! My afternoon was therefore shot.

    wordle shut down on me in the middle, and switched me to the NYT website. are they getting rid of the UK site I wonder?
