I am taking the day off from work. I want today to be relaxing, but currently am up to my neck in chores prepping for the weekend. In the dryer are clothes I washed last night, the sink is full of dirty dishes that need to be washed, and the car is filled with almost everything I need for the weekend except for the clothes that I need to pack and my now-empty coolers. My daily hustle and bustle is really wearing me down, I just want to RELAX…

17 mile ride shortened by 3 miles because when I met Debbie at the café for breakfast I noticed my rear tire was about to have a baby. So I made her take me home before she went to get her haircut.
Nothing else planned for this weekend. We have to rearrange the fencing to allow the equipment to get from the front to the back so will be shortening one of the paddocks so they can get by. Seeing all the trees down is both exciting and depressing. While I like the idea of having pasture of our own and the beautiful horses out grazing in it, the trees are being wasted, which is a shame.
