Yesterday’s drive was four hours of slogging through rain, heavy at times. It was slow going and tiring, especially in my condition (fighting off my illness).
I spent the night in Valdosta. I checked Georgia Beer Co. off my Hop Passport, and ate a fast dinner of cheap pizza and salad before returning to the hotel and passing out. The M6 made a disturbing noise when I pulled on the parking brake in the restaurant parking lot, I’m hoping that it’s nothing. 🤞🻠It made no such noise back at the hotel.
I am hoping today’s four-ish hours will prove to be better, and completely uneventful. Wish me luck.
I think if I can return to Atlanta next week without having to take the M6 for emergency repairs it might be time to consider another car.
any reason for visiting mom besides just visiting mom?
Mom turns 90 on Monday. I know, how could someone so young have a mother that old? LOL
Good for her, 90 is a fantastic run, and clearly it’s not over yet. As I understand it, the thermostat in her house must be pegged to her age, so one degree of heat per year? 😉
If the thermostat goes any higher she can charge money for being a sauna.
its always good to hear it just not my parents that think their house needs to be a sauna. I get in trouble because I wear a t-shirt & no shoes in the house in the winter when I go to Iowa.
After Debbie’s procedure yesterday we found lunch then came home and waited for the bed delivery which was mostly on time. A little bike ride and then dinner out followed by shopping for what we needed for mom’s arrival later today.
Hoping to actually see the sun later today. Did anyone see snow?
