So no takers on my 2 free lacrosse tickets for Friday night? Ok then, this afternoon I’m taking my business elsewhere if no one speaks up!

Thanks Barb for the bike offer. Perhaps when Paulie brings his bike over I’ll tag along if my schedule permits. 🙂

    • ITP Lurker says:

I have a life-long streak going here of never having attended a lacrosse game, and no temptress is going to sway me. 😉

      • barb says:

I’d like to go, but I’d want Allan there to explain the rules, plus I already have 2 other conflicts that night – trying to decide what I actually will end up doing.
We are going to hockey up there Saturday evening, if anyone want to join – might finally be a good tailgating day!

      • Understand Barb.

Here are the rules I understand:
        1. Buy beer
        2. Sit down
        3. Watch game while drinking beer

        Repeat as necessary. 🙂

      • Bonnie says:

Lurker, good for you for standing your ground! *fist bump* LOL.

  2. Copy of Stacy’s comment from earlier this morning.

    Since a 3-20 post isn’t up yet, I’ll say it here…

3-20 is Great American Meat Out Day! I think perhaps it should be one of your V. days this week? 😉

  3. NThis is my periodical “hackers are assholes” rant: I am trying to clean up some my accounts that have been hacked so that I can stop being spammed by them. I’m overdue to (attempt to) kill off accounts that I no longer use.

  4. barb says:

    Paulie –
next week’s schedule for possible bike maintenance –
    Tuesday 3/26 is open
and I think Friday 3/29 is open
the next week- 4/1 I might make Allan’s 50th birthday be a day early – he’s working on the 2nd.
Thursday 4/4 & Friday 4/5 may be open.

(Allan keeps working extra days – swapping with people, so they owe him once we start the kitchen – so he can work on it & not have to take any actual time off)

    • I have no German class next week, so Tuesday may be good for me.

I can’t speak for Bonnie, she’s too articulate for me, but can transport her bike and relay any information if she’s unavailable to join.

We can dine out, or I can bring alcohol to share.

      • barb says:

I will pencil in Tuesday for a bike night.
(I love to use a pencil – not that I even have a calendar to write on and possibly erase something, but I still like the idea of it)

that’s a few days away -we can decide on menu a little later.
(and/or – bring Betsy along too, she wants a tasty china night to exchange a cast iron skillet – of course -that is no rush for that at all – we got at least a couple months before we can use it)

      • Bonnie says:

Paulie and Barb, I can make Tuesday work by swapping around my schedule. Thanks! 🙂

  5. Steve says:

Late to the party… having too much fun tracing power lines in my computer room.

    1. Lacross- I’d love to but getting Debbie from Lagrange to Gwinette Co. would be a haul.
    2. Speaking of Birthdays- I hear a rumor of Public Enema laying trail next weekend (3/30) for his 60th. Ending is at George’s. I’m assuming AH4, but not %100.
    3. Did “Blues and BBQ” last night. Michelle Malone and our neighbor Doug were the entertainment. A little space with 60 people jammed in made for really good acoustics, unlike the regular Newnan venue “The Alamo” which always sounds awful. Still home and in bed by 10. Big plus.

    • barb says:

Correct on the Enema 60th birthday hash – it will be anyone in the ATL for a Saturday hash – same weekend as the Black Sheep Table Rock campout.
We will not be going to the campout, so I will be at the hash, Allan I’m pretty sure id working.

Allan said next Tuesday works for him for bike maintenance.

    • I will be at the campout, so I shan’t be at Enema’s hash.

  6. Barb says:

first time ever – a broken bottle in a case of wine.
Talking to the FedEx guy – we could refuse the whole case, or accept it & deal directly with the winery. (he said they usually are told to destroy refused boxes). I was like nooooooo – you can’t destroy the other 11 bottles! I will accept & either get a credit or get another bottle shipped.
