I “understand†Florida, but by and large it’s not for me.
Sorry Steve, this is the best I could do with the image I took Saturday morning…
It’s not Scottish so it must be crap. 😂
Traveling back to Atlanta today where I will begin 2019 over again and attempt to fix many of the things that are wrong with my life.
I learned again that I can no longer stand broadcast television with all of its commercials for drugs, and inane shows. And soon, it will be littered with political commercials as well.
Its crazy watching live TV – we watch the network news occasionally in the evening – the drug commercials are insane, I d agree.
That’s why the DVR is always used.
I like that. Starting 2019 over. 🙂 Who says we need to stick by the calendar anyway?
I’m up for starting 2019 over as well.
The majority of this month has been spent indoors doing little, getting fat(ter)—between having a sinus/respiratory illness, throwing out my back and the damned Atlanta rain. Tonight however, I am going to venture out to the Moonlight hash for Slim Prickens’ virgin lay. My back still hurts somewhat but I’ve been doing a 2+ mile walk per day for the past few days and survived. And the start is in my hood at Krobar—score!
Spent most of the weekend on my back or in bed. This respiratory crap is for the birds. Did make it out to a burial Saturday and the follow up wake/get together Sunday.
The former JEFDSDR took a hit from the tornado. The haunted run-in shed was completely demolished (no great loss) but the barn was also damaged by falling trees. No animals were hurt and the house was unscathed. We had just done a drive by Saturday on the way home from the burial along Tabby Lynch Rd., and specifically mentioned how nice a couple properties were. Both sustained damage but we did not hear of any injuries (human or equine).

wow- that’s pretty freaky! I heard there was a tornado down that way.
Steve, here’s some things *not* do with your scooter. A lot happens in this 10 second video:

I was just practicing that the other day!
Barb, the part that was more damaged looked like a bulldozer had pushed the pine trees across the road. We came through about 11:30 and the road crew had them cut from the road and piled alongside. 8″ to 12″ trunks, so not small. One huuuge oak split in half, which will no doubt require the rest of it to be cut.
It was pretty ugly for about 10 folks.
I’d say something optimistic about starting over but it would just end up in the blog trash. 😉
LOL!
Just the blog trying to keep you down…
Oh yeah, ran across an article on dirty cell phone charging ports:

Greetings from the rest area just south of Gainesville FL! I’d spend some time in my college town, but have stopped to per and the eat a lunch consisting of leftovers.
