Well, we certainly lucked out weatherwise for Cheddarhead yesterday. I had a fun day even though I couldn’t pull my bowling up to claim the final Men’s Championship. I will remember picking up that split for a spare in the tenth frame of the first game which allowed me to (temporarily) have the high score for a long time.
Oh boy, back to work today…
My mini-hiatus was fun, though as with most breaks I hoped to accomplish much more than I actually did. At least I was somewhat productive…
Clearly, our bowling prowess isn’t what it used to be. I’m going to try bowling next time and not drink so I can at least not be beaten by a 5th grader!
Great to see the turnout at Cheddarhead. I think some can be attributed to Condo’s passing. And while I don’t recall the last time I saw them (probably last Cheddarhead) Tripod looks pretty good but Ouch looks so frail. Lots of folks aging… except blog readers!
Time to refocus on what’s coming up- leaving for Colo Springs Friday after work. Hoping to see some sort of plan from ” the feds” (USA Cycling) on how we are getting from DEN to COS. Meet all day Saturday and half the day Sunday, then fly home. Monday off then drive to St. Pete Tuesday.
I guess the new year for “my job” won’t really start until the 14th!!

I think my back yard survived the day yesterday, we will see how the grass looks later after about 170 people trampling it. .
We had so much fun with Sani – she gave to coozie to Alexis (Fag Hag) even though Cheese & I weren’t done bowling, and then we BOTH beat Alexis’s score of 118 (Cheese had 128, I had 120). I do want a cheese coozie though……. I’m going to remind Sani of that.
We went to the Delkwood Grill after bowling, I never get around to eating at Cheddarhead (besides a brat) so I wanted pizza.
The men’s koozie also got the wrong name, and Pissticide (multiple champ) gave the koozie to NFHN Bennie, the guy I beat with my fantastic spare pickup. 😉
Bonnie was kind enough to feed me after bowling otherwise I don’t know where, or how much, I would have eaten.
I think the backyard will survive fine. It drains well and I think most folks stayed on the pavers when possible.
Sani was ready to go last night. She walked past me at some point muttering about having to stay another hour!
Sani is so funny, she could have asked me (or you, or someone) to give out the coozies. I don’t blame her on being ready to leave, she was at my house at 0930am. I was ready to go too, but it was fun!
Just Benny was pretty cool, I think he might actually come hashing again – he was saying he’d come to Black Sheep sunday.
Yeah, he seemed like a good sport, especially since he wore white on trail.
Since I was a bimbo, what was the actual trail like?
Short and sweet, sadly the beer stop was not a Wisconsin beer stop this year. There was a little shiggy, and thanks to all of the rain some water and mud.
Catching up on email…
Well that was quick! (that’s what she said 😂)
Now what the heck was I working on solving a week and a half week ago?
don’t ya hate when that happens?
Yep. 🙂
I am really tired today – I think all the fun of the few weeks has finally caught up with me. HoPo was talking about going to spin tonight, but I just don’t think I can do it.
Took me forever to get moving this morning. I am glad that all I have to do tonight is eat and drink at Betsy’s while watching tv.
btw Paulie – if you are feeling genereous – since this is on FB – you probably didn’t see this gofundme for Condo.

And I looked up where Sylvester Ga is… midway between Albany and I-75. TLC spoke last night of a gathering- likely on the 19th to celebrate Condo’s life. Perhaps at Burnt Rubbers?
you are thinking of Dipstick’s.
I told her to get it confirmed with Dip so we can put out the word.
Dip’s… indeed.
Thanks, I had not seen that link.
he’d been paying way too much money for his mom’s memory care – so he has run out of money. they will be selling the house, but that takes a lot more time than the funeral home will wait.
