It’s funny how one adjective can change my attitude. Yesterday I received mail from the High Museum that stated “As a new member…“; New? Who are you calling “newâ€?!?! I have been a member for at least twenty years! Anyway, I am going to see that Infinity Mirrors exhibit on Sunday at 4:00pm EST, and have one free ticket for anyone who claims it here and can meet Bonnie and me outside the High by 3:15pm EST Sunday. (Bonnie, 4:00 is the time printed on the ticket. Please forgive me if I told you earlier as I had put in my calendar incorrectly.)
I saw an intriguing play called “Knead†last night at the Hertz Stage of The Alliance Theater. One couple near me thought differently, leaving about 30 minutes into the 80-minute performance.
Congratulations to ATL UTD. Let’s hope they do better in their championship game than Arthur Blank’s other team did nearly two years ago.

Weird to think about the Super Bowl 2 years ago. That is one of my earliest memories after moving to Atlanta. Willow had just gotten her feeding tube removed (she got sick upon the move here), so we had a low-key watch party on the couch with the cats.
Once again you are much better at keeping a calendar than I am. 🤔
I ate a baked sweet potato for breakfast. Sweet Potatoes are breakfast food, right? 🙄
Of course! Yum! I made a vat of steel cut oats in the crockpot overnight. Breakfast for days and days! 🙌🻠(No, not in the Instant Pot yet…)
I watched the last half of the match last night. I still don’t get it. I’m trying.

Due to the playoff structure last night’s game was unusual because the United mostly played defense all night to protect the three goal buffer they mounted in the first game. The series is essentially determined by the aggregate score, so Atlanta basically had to avoid losing by three goals.
Ok, that makes a bit more sense. I was thinking THIS was the team dominating the league?
so basically – it was 1 game, 180 minutes, just played in 2 different places.
Once Allan explained it that way – it made more sense.

busy morning – co-worker called in late -so I had to do double duty all morning.
Our turkey vegetable rice (or noodle) soup came out really good – Allan’s mom & dad came over last night to help us eat it – and take home some leftovers. Allan made a ton of broth.
considering try to get some Elton John tickets for tonight – can’t decide if I want to spend the big bucks, but maybe about 6pm the prices will come down?
Didn’t realize there is a concert tonight, not that I’d go (I’m too cheap), but still…
its tonight & tomorrow night – its supposedly Elton’s last tour, and I may actually believe him.

Weird, the Bundesliga soccer game broadcast between Mainz and Düsseldorf does not have commentators. This is normal for Bundesliga 2 broadcasts, but not Bundesliga matches.
Also, there is a huge banner in the stadium that reads “Gegen Montagsspiele†(“Against Monday Gamesâ€).
