Unfortunately starting my day with a stop at my doctor’s office. Hoping this is just a overreaction visit for me, but given my family history…

    Also, moved the majority of the remaining woodpile from out of the carport. Hopefully today’s rain will make it completely inert and I can dismantle and dispose of it.

    Dryer repair guy got the dryer all back together – now its making a slightly different (wrong) noise. He is coming back this afternoon. I’m sure we’ve voided any warranty at this point – I really didn’t think it was going to be this difficult to get it fixed.

    New dishwasher is being delivered on Thursday – hopefully that will go smoothly.

    Well I’m almost as healthy as a horse, just not hung like one. 😮

    After using stethoscope the doctor did an EKG and all looked fine. 😅

      Unrelated to the hurricane, but to keep John in the loop, Microsoft has updated Excel’s calculation engine for the first time in 30 years. Formulas such as =SORT, =FILTER, =UNIQUE, and more are now possible. Requires an Office 365 subscription and for now signing up for the free Microsoft Insider program. There hasn’t been much new under the sun in Excel for a long time, but this is definitely a game changer.     Hope it’s nothing serious. And just to keep the gremlins away, I got my flu shot a little while ago- in case I keel over, you will know why.

    Games meeting was short- if we aren’t ready by now… we’ve pre-sold more tickets than ever so it should be a banner year. Trailers move into unload position this morning and I’ll be out on the field starting tomorrow for the foreseeable future.
    I expect to see a few ITP readers in attendance (hint hint).

    I figured out something- if you yell at the dogs when they are trying to wake you to go out, they will generally settle back down. Monday night, everyone slept through the night, while last night, they stirred a bit.

      Supposedly I’m fine. Doctor thinks it’s a bit of chest inflammation causing me grief when I breathe deeply or cough heavily. Lungs and ECG checked out fine.

      In addition to my family history I wanted to make sure I was healthy enough to be sedated for my probing next Monday.

      my massage therapist is a essential oil pusher- I’ve got some sort of blend that’s suppose to keep me healthy. Since I’m too lazy to go get a flu shot – we will see……. I am not a sickly person, and have not had a flu shot in years, so I’m not a firm believer in them. I’d get 1 if they came to my office and did it – but to go somewhere, wait, etc – I bet I won’t get around to it.

        I only seem to get sick from the flu shot itself, which is making me very much question accepting one this year.

    My heart has a lazy beat or some strange thing like that so I get to have an EKG at every physical. I had to do a stress test too. Such a PITA, specially since they have to shave patches out of my chest hair each time. Fun times in the summer 🙂

      When I was 35 my doctor sent me to a cardiologist to have an echocardiogram done. From the time I first saw him to the time I got my results I had run the Atlanta half marathon (I used to be able to do that back in the olden days). He said “What? Did you have any pain?” and when I answered “No” he was relieved.
