My mouth is still unhappy which makes the rest of me unhappy. The pain doesn’t seem to be as bad as it was yesterday, but it’s still there. Unfortunately my dentist is not in the office today nor tomorrow, so I have to wait until Monday unless I deem this to be an emergency and want to see a substitute dentist (I’d rather not). Shit timing.

    Pasta for dinner last night, pancakes for breakfast today. “Soft” is the new trend in my foods…

    We had sushi last night – that’s pretty soft.
    Bummer on the teeth – I’ve had so many dental issues (mostly gums) I can understand.

    and- August 30th lunch – Allan is definitely out – he will be at a firehouse somewhere.
    He’s so happy to start wearing blue again – no more white shirt!!!

    Trying to figure out what to take to Allatoona/Red Top this weekend.
    Paulie- are you going? I know Bonnie said she is?? (do I remember right?)
    What should we cook? Any suggestions? if you need our grill or electricity or whatever, let me know.

      The plan is for me to go camping this weekend unless my mouth dictates otherwise.

      I don’t know where to find information about where in the park we are supposed to go, however. And due to my waffling I have no idea what food to bring. Mmmmm, waffles…

        Red Top Mtn Pioneer Campground
        DIRECTIONS TO CAMPGROUND at 101 Webster Ferry Landing, Cartersville, GA 30121
        Head north on I-75 N to Exit 285, Red Top Mountain Rd
        Turn right onto Red Top Mountain Rd, go 2.6 mi
        Sharp left onto Webster Ferry Landing and go .5 mi, to 101 Webster Ferry Landing, Cartersville, GA 30121
        Turn left into campground.
        I’m sure some people will get there Friday.
        We will get there mid to late morning Saturday, with the camper. Hopefully find a spot that the generator won’t bother people.

      Barb: I have been planning to camp all 3 days but something has come up that may prevent me from going. 😢😢😢 I will know later this afternoon if I can go or not… Also, I found this tidbit buried in the SOB post from Licola: “For camping, there is enough space that you can set up in a secluded quiet location if so desired. There are outhouses and the website says “running water is available”.”

    Sorry to hear about your teeth. There is no pain quite like dental pain.

    With Debbie on the road, it was just me and the hounds last night. I spent a pleasant couple of hours mowing pasture, took care of horses, dogs and kitties, and went down the youtube rabbit hole- A series about a guy building a timber frame barn, essentially by himself. He has a tractor with a boom on the front end, but still had to build an A frame on the second floor to raise the trusses for the roof. A come-along and a chain hoist to get things vertical. I can see myself trying to build something like that, or maybe just taking a class somewhere. Very cool. More tools!!

    Allan has 54, Wee Little Bit has 34, CheeseNips has 25, Fagpipes has 4, Glory Mole has 1.

    I know it isn’t up to date. (but the Atlanta stats seems to be). I’ve got my mug, so I don’t care.

    And – you would be correct – I’m not busy today.
