Not that I had any reason to believe that it wouldn’t, the M6 passed its first emissions test yesterday.

    Did it get a diploma and graduation ceremony? Because I hear that’s what happens when you pass anything these days.

    Greetings from the Len Foote Hike Inn. Waiting 10 minutes for breakfast at 8am.
    Never rained on us hiking, it it poured last night.
    Looking good for today.
    5 miles was a good distance yesterday.

      Barb, as a follow-up to yesterday’s conversation, I have lunch plans on July 2 and will report back if the restaurant makes me say “Shit yeah!” or “Shit. Meh!”

    I did something wild and crazy last night….I went OTP! Hahaha. Just barely though. But I finally made it up to the Battery and had dinner with friends from Minnesota who were just passing through town on their way to Disney. They had decided Marietta was a good stopping place for the night, so it worked out I could see them.

    Thought of you Paulie and how we mentioned at lunch the other day you should sell your house and get a condo up there. Those condos (or apartments or whatever they are) look really nice!

    First time up in that area and wow. Okay, that’s a nice new stadium and area around it. I’m super glad the Braves had off last night: if they had had a home game I would have been all: er… sorry, we need to meet somewhere else. I’m also super glad for this little road called Hwy 41 and what a beautiful alternate it makes to I-75 going north at 5pm (and the fact I knew to use it!). JEEZUS, people. If I had to deal with that traffic every day I’d go mental. But 41 was a breeze.

      I’ve come to realize that because I work in midtown and the majority of my fun happens very close to EAV, so selling the ITP Estate is not a consideration now.

      How busy was The Battery? Besides being over priced, how was it?
      Where did you eat?
      And, that traffic on 75 is Horrible because of all the construction, I’m hoping when this crap is finally finished, traffic will be much better.

        The Battery wasn’t that crowded; probably because of a Braves off day. We ate at Yard House. It was good. The food was reasonable; just the beers being over priced.

    Can’t believe I will be in Canada in two weeks. Working on a meal plan to use up food in my refrigerator and freezer.

    Also, been a bad week for exercise. ☹️

    And finally, going to see “110 in the Shade” tonight – seems appropriate for the heat we have been experiencing.

    And thank you for the PSA on emissions testing, it’s that time of year for me too. At least I no longer run around on my birthday getting two cars checked and then driving to the tag office at Greenbrier Mall. Talk about self-flagellation.

    I’ve set a plan to get my cars done next week, which means I can get my tag by mail again this year. I was too high-strung for a couple of decades to trust the mail to deliver my tag. As if that were even an option because I’d push the emissions tests to the 11th hour.

    Nonetheless, I’m grateful to be a little more chill now. 🙂 TGIF

      I’ve always just gone to the tag office to get my tags, but they closed the one in East Cobb, and the other office somewhat near was insanely busy.
      So, I renewed on the internet this year. July 2019 tags got here in less than a week.

    If you live in BFE, you don’t have to worry about emissions tests. But you do have to deal with septic tanks. Ours got pumped out yesterday. It was full and the filter and input line were clogged. I believe we’ve found the solution to our ongoing commode issues.

    It’s been an expensive week. Septic tank, new tires, crown for me, dental work and shots for all three horses. Kakakaching! So I went shopping for luggage this morning. 🙄

    Pulled the trigger on an Ebag and a rolling briefcase. Soon to be seen at an airport near you.

    Good afternoon from day two of the national championships. Yesterday’s time trial and a beautiful oak ridge Tennessee was pretty uneventful with a little bit of rain for the beginning of the man’s waves but overall didn’t affect the outcome. Paulie, your lawyers Son, Joey Roskoff won, making him champion two years in a row.

    Went to breakfast this morning and as we sat outside drinking coffee, a gentleman and entered the shop and was covered with body security as well as a agent who stayed outside. When I quizzed the agent outside who was he shadowing, the simply replied there were lots of important people around. I assume it was the Senator from Tennessee, as UT graduation was happening.

    Crit tonight, live streamed? Maybe.

    Back home & showered. Showers are the best invention ever after being outside sweating to death.
    Hike was fun, did the approach trail back, I think it is tougher than the Hike Inn trail. But, that could be because it was Day 2.
