Strenuous hash last night, for a Moonlite, in the old work neighborhood. Hoping the Prednisone I put into my body last week helps ward off the poison ivy through which I trampled last night.
Tuesday Tale of the Tape: 209.0 pounds (-1.6 from last week’s weigh-in). Not eating a real dinner last night may have contributed to this success.
There is much pain in my life. I am hoping Friday’s physical / doctor visit is the first step to remedying at least some of it.
Acknowledging (versus ignoring/being in denial of pain) is actually the first step. You’re farther along than you think.
A busy day of meetings yesterday, followed by another day of meetings and a haircut.
I spent last night on the tractor cutting one of our pastures- long overdue. I noticed some vines are starting to work their way along some of the electric fence. This grounds the fence and makes it much harder to give somebody a shock, so will have to be cut back before lighting it up.
And I hear you are the hare next Monday? Hmmm… might get me out.
Welcome back Barb!

I volunteered to hare next Monday’s hash. Not sure where it’ll be yet, midtown or Grant Park are the two candidates. Going to wait to see a weather forecast before deciding.
If it’s Midtown, I am very likely to show up. Or maybe just hijack your trail and put out a shot stop. Hahaha. I say that because one time back in the day Dingleberry did that to me and Yassir. It actually turned out pretty cool; he just routed them to his front lawn for shots and then sent them back on their way again.
Hmmmm…. you know, we could actually *plan* something like that if you want… something a little different for a fun change. 🙂
That could be fun….. great idea Stacy!
Thanks Barb! I thought so. Paulie never acknowledges my offers to help though so I’m just going to assume it’s a no go. Will keep it in my pocket for someone else. 🙂
I haven’t decided where trail will be yet. Further, yesterday turned out to be a painful and unproductive day for me, which is why I fell off the face of the Internet.
Ah, I’m used to it. Hence the word “never”. 😉
we are back!
Iowa was fun, but makes my brain hurt, trying to figure out what (if anything) we need to do for/with my parents. They seem to be doing pretty good, as far as I can tell, they are paying their bills, etc. They write themselves lots of notes, which means they spend half the day looking for what they wrote down, but hey – it keeps them busy!
Not much on the agenda this week – Paulie – didn’t you want your bike looked at?
We need to get that done some night.
Yeah, I need to get both bikes overhauled at some point. I’ll get with you to find out Allan’s availability soon.
Killing 3 hours in the airport. So of course the chattiest 4 year old ever is sitting right behind me. I’d move, but plugs are at a premium and my battery back up is dead.
He has a New York accent. I’m trying to think of it as cute rather than grating.
How’s the weather looking in Atlanta? Hoping to get a ride in this afternoon.
I’m not sure a ride out doors will be possible. You’re bringing the rain from the South.
