Surprising result after a really good day of exercise, but a really bad day of eating.
Tuesday Tale of the Tape: 211.8 pounds
Note: in an attempt to have relevant data I weigh myself using the same scale, in the same location of the house, every Tuesday at roughly the same time.
Apologies to ITP-Reader John. I know I promised an action photo of the bottle opener in use, but I had no need to open a bottle last night. Soon.
Apparently, Joe has a (serious) drinking problem! 🙂

He’s such a lush I am surprised he never became a hasher! 🙂
good morning –
I hate coming back from vacation- the way everyone here half ass does my work – it is crazy trying to figure out what got messed up.
anyway – hopefully by the end of today I will have it all figured out.
You could have stopped at “I hate coming back from vacation” and we all would have agreed. 🙂
Good luck straightening things out.
A fairly slow day yesterday. Trying to keep my head from spinning too much. Puttered around with more lumberjacking and started the process of fencing off the backyard to permit horses to come from the pasture straight to the barn and not be “free”. Not that they give us much problem, but when they go “walkabout”, it can add time which we don’t always account for. Much like this morning with the dogs. As Debbie is in Nashville (I thought she was flying to Tampa, that’s next weekend), I let the dogs out to take a leak and come back in. To my surprise, everyone vanished. Lily had come up the driveway barking about 04:15 and maybe they went to see what she wanted, but they were gone long enough for me to be bothered and slightly late to work. I’d leave Brownie out, as he is sufficiently independent and won’t come home wet and smelly. Lola came in, then Brown and Ollie (who will come home wet and smelly), but Izzie was last- she can’t open the door herself, so I will always have to wait on her. Those children…
I tried to purchase another chain saw Sunday. Lowes was the only store with a 24″ model, so I went online yesterday and found the same model, remanufactured, for almost $200 less. I will now have enough saw to take care of the trunks of the fallen trees. Yippee!
Barb, did you ever speak to the head hunter?

well – I just got a call from a LinkedIn application I sent.
I have a feeling they won’t want to pay what I’d like, but its is western Roswell/near Marietta – so not a terrible drive (about 20 minutes).
And – it would be something different (international transportation/freight forwarding) which I know a little about, so I think I could learn it fairly easily. Interview in next week Tuesday afternoon.
I’ve got another one out there, they want me to fill out this questionnaire, but I think it would be more sales than I would like. I haven’t figured out how to answer some of the questions.
Sometimes interview for a job you don’t really want is good practice.
exactly – I just have to figure out how to answer questions that truly don’t apply, to make it sound like they do apply……….
Good for you to start the process, Barb. Lots of times people like the idea of making a change in their life much more than the actual work of effecting that change. You have things in motion here, which is massive. The initial momentum is often the greatest hurdle.
you are so correct. I know the grass won’t necessarily be greener -and I have a great gig with insurance & vacation time, and a very short commute. But – I hate it here- I need to do something different.
