you know- Allan gets paid every other week, and I get paid every other week – so every Friday is payday for us. I never know which of us is getting paid, I just know there is more money in the checking account.

My old roomie Gregg (Hand Solo) decided to roadtrip from Norfolk, VA for a party tomorrow night, so I have a houseguest this weekend. I guess he misses his Parrothead friends, that’s a 9 hours drive. No idea what we are doing tonight – I have to entertain him alone – since Allan will be at the Tabernacle.

Tomorrow we are getting our good karma – a older Parrothead friend has Alzheimers, and his daughter asked if some of us could help with a cleanup at his house. He is moving into a assisted living place. I’m afraid of what we are getting into, but she needs help. He lives down right off the Silk Sheets route, so a road trip tomorrow morning. This also makes me want to ride my road bike, its been forever!
If anyone is bored tomorrow morning, feel free to come join us.

    • I’m a one-income household so payday is roughly every other week.

I’m getting my good karma tomorrow morning by volunteering for a winter clothing drive with the Urban Explorers. It’ll be held near Georgia Beer Garden and I am going to ride my mountain bike over there. Going to be chilly…

I would help Barb, but Debbie has to be up at O-dark-thirty to drive to Commerce to go test ride a horse that might be a temporary visitor for the hunt season. I think I’m being “told” she needs me to help, so I’ll be gone for the day.

A new spark plug had the mower roaring last night, so the Ben Hilton is on tap for Sunday (if the rain holds off). Tonight, Callaway Gardens Christmas lights, proceeded by dinner at a hole in the wall steak place called Hunters Pub. Great steaks, though.

    Have a great weekend, friends.

I think I’m meeting my Gregg & our friend Eddie (from Conyers) at the downtown Varsity at 1200. Its a 20 minute drive, but parking there is easy.

Varsity – I just don’t understand the love of that place. Its always so crazy busy. The food is so so. but – it was easy to get to from 75, and isn’t that expensive……… so, I guess I can’t complain too much.

Ummm… I love me some V! I didn’t actually grow up with it, but I used to work across the street, so I managed a couple trips a week. I can still walk there to earn it!

Been twice, the second time confirmed my evaluation of the first time; both visits occurred in 1995.
