Last night’s Super Bowl might go down as one of the worst I have ever watched, at least in my opinion; fumbles, penalties, punts, oh my! The game was so uninteresting to me that I almost consider having a Super Bowl party next year so that I’m too busy to watch the game. And clearly I am no longer the target market for the halftime show either. I didn’t even like most of the commercials. The only saving grace for me was that I actually won a quarter of the Super Bowl Squares that I entered!
I had a great time hanging with the Raleigh Royalty even if an unfortunate situation that I shan’t divulge since it doesn’t directly involve me, occurred.
On Friday I took the day off from work and hung with ITP-Reader Lisa. We took her kids to school, did a thirty-minute elliptical workout at the YMCA, went to the North Carolina Museum of Art, picked her kids up from school, and then hung out with ITP-Randy at the house for the rest of the evening.
Saturday and Sunday had us all attending swim practices and meets in the mornings. On Saturday afternoon we all went out for lunch before one son went to a birthday party, the remainder of us hung out at the Raleigh Beer Garden for a while, and then we all chilled and spend the night at the house watching television; we binge-watched all of The Great British Baking Show. Yesterday hung around the house then we watched the Super Bowl.
This morning I am flying back to Atlanta on an 8:00am flight. Upon landing I will be taking MARTA back to the office to complete my workday. Wheee!
I’m feeling fat and miss working out on my trainer; it’s been six days since I last rode. My goal is to get home early enough to put an hour in on the trainer, especially since I will not be able to do so tomorrow.

If you can’t talk about it – why post it? All it does is make us wonder.
We didn’t win anything on the squares we bought. Went to a friend’s house, he just got the new biggest, latest, greatest TV & other electronic things I really don’t understand. It was fun – since none of us really cared at all about the game.
Rode the road bike Saturday, & the mountain bike Sunday. I’m way out of shape, I need to get on the bike more.
Well, I wanted to indicate why my weekend summary was kurt.
We had an exceptional weekend which unfortunately ended with me in my current position of lying in bed with some sort of stomach bug. Some time spent playing lumberjack as well as meeting my family for dinner near PDK to celebrate my sisters retirement.
Sunday had more lumberjacking and then to our favorite Mexican restaurant for when I thought was a delicious dinner, yet here I lie waiting for whatever is it me to run its course.
