Yesterday I worked late, ate dinner out, drove home, watched Mad Men from Sunday night, did some work, went to sleep.
Today I will work until 4:30pm, drive to Colony Square, attend German class, drive home, do some work, go to sleep.
Tomorrow? Probably more of the same.
I’m also keeping an eye on this weekend’s weather forecast, which as of now looks absolutely horrible for camping and cycling, both of which I have signed up to do for BRAG Spring Tune Up.
Speaking of “Lather, rinse, repeat” for the past week or so I’ve been battling dry scalp. It’s the weirdest thing since I’ve never really had this occur previously. I’ve been using a couple of different shampoos and conditioners, all being brands I’ve used previously, and am trying to figure out what the hell is going on. I have a hard enough time presenting myself with confidence as is, I don’t need to battle another skin condition, especially one as noticeable as dry scalp.
Okay, time to make the code.
Cheers,
Paulie [eatl/ga]
A fairly boring day yesterday. Once I arrived home, we enjoyed the company of neighbors Nicole and Doug (the folks that followed us to Augusta last week). Ate dinner and talked- very enjoyable.
Today, a dentist appointment followed by an on-field meeting at Stone Mountain with our main field builder, to see if he has any issues with the new planned layout.
I heard it raining after I got up this morning, but by the time I got out the door, it had all but stopped. I just looked at the forecast for the weekend and it doesn’t look promising.
We were planning on heading to Lexington KY next weekend for the Rolex 3 Day Event (a horse thing) but realized we had more we needed to do around the house and the discretionary spending account is pretty well dry. Another year…

It might not be that bad in Madison, you just never know. We have 2 pop-ups to hang under, and I know Vern has at least 1. As long as it isn’t cold, we will be fine.
And, there are bars & restaurants in town………
I’ll be bringing a large tarp as well for my tent. As of now I have no intention of skipping the rides.
btw – What time to you expect to arrive in Madison on Friday?
Re: dry scalp…. any chance you got a bit of a sunburn while bike riding/mowing last weekend? That could explain it and you should be back to better in no time if so.
Hadn’t thought about that, but it’s highly unlikely since I never felt pain (or heat). Also on the bike I’m always wearing a helmet. Normally I wear a hat when mowing the lawn but didn’t this past weekend because my hair was looking particularly good. 🙂
We plan to leave 9 -10am or so Friday, figuring it will take 1.5 hours or so, depending on the traffic.
Dry scalp, I had to resort to some prescription stuff from my dermatologist, and mine gets worse with stress. How about that craziness?
