Not much happened again, mainly did little things around WLF. Today I have a bunch of errands to run.

    Wordle in 4.

I had to pre-mow the back yard to get the leaves away from the fence. Hopefully the grass will replace the dirt. I need to do a bit more to expose the hot wire so the dogs don’t forget it’s there. I don’t think they would try to dig under anymore, but they need to remember their lesson.

Cash is back in the hospital. He’ll stay until Monday so the vet can get his wound to heal better and the skin to attach. Damn horses…

A brief but intense ride on the trainer last night..

wordle in 4 – that took a while

Worked too hard yesterday – made cheesesteaks for dinner – found some sandwich roast beef on manager mark down sale in the deli area of Kroger. And an idea for dinner happened.

    Such an exciting life somedays

We went to Six Feet for dinner last night with our friend Elayne. Delightful as usual.

Finn is having a fine ol’ time during his spring break as the nanny takes him places. He’s seen the Minecraft movie, been to the comic book store twice, watched the Sonic 3 movie, gone for ice cream, and today he’s going to the aquarium. Must be nice!

  5. Busy, busy morning with the near conclusion of the M6 refusing to start. In an already expensive month, I wonder how much a Mazda 6 key fob costs?

    This morning I:
    – stopped at the eye place on Scott Blvd and set up an appointment for Monday. Hopefully they can get rid of my chalazion, an out of pocket expense, for less than $1000.
    – got a haircut
    – filled the M6 with gas
    – mailed EZ-Pass at post office
    – went to Your Dekalb Farmers Market
    – shopped at two thrift stores
    – went to Home Depot and decided not to spend money
    – spent some of the Home Depot money for lunch at vegetarian Indian buffet

Don’t they sell 2 key fobs for cars these days? Where’s the spare and a new battery for it?

    • Barb says:

I’ve had to replace a battery in the fob for my car – and my car is only 5 yesrs old

    • Jenka says:

I’ve had to replace the battery in my fob twice, and it’s 7 years old.

    • I’ve replaced the battery in the fob many times. Yes, my car came with two fobs, I’m using the second now because the first one started to get flaky a few years ago even though I replaced the battery in it. I don’t know if I’m wearing out the buttons, or pocket lint is getting into them (can’t check because I don’t want to tear the fob open).

I’ve put a new battery into the one I’ve been using. Time will tell if this is a true fix. It’s unnerving to lose faith in the car starting every time, however.

      • Barb says:

I get it – I guess google/you tube will be the answer as to if it just really wears out & you need to get a replacement.

Let us know – now I’m curious
