Parts and tool are starting to arrive to repair my scooter. The front forks are in need of servicing and there are special tools to pull out and reinstall the seals. Brake shoes for the rear wheel were also ordered and will be in next week.
I phoned in the Games meeting yesterday as there will be quite enough driving this weekend going to the wedding in Louisiana. Not counting stops, almost 9 hours one way.
Hadn’t expected to need warm pajamas and space heater again for a while, but using both this morning. Look as if we will dip into to lower 40s at least once more, so I expect all of my early tomato plants to die.
It’s interesting that PBS has started uploading shows to YouTube. I just started watching a show called “How She Rolls” from 2020/2021 which follows the story of Callie’s Hot Little Biscuits, when I remembered that there used to be one of these stores in VaHi. According to Eater Atlanta this store closed in 2022.
Made spaghetti last night – Jackie & Greg made some at camp & it smelled so good at the time -so I decided I needed to make some. I used a jar of Rao’s Arrabbiata mixed in with cans of tomatoes – to give it just a little kick. And we had a bag of frozen meatballs to add to it. It was tasty.
Hopefully selling the Lime cruiser bike today (on Marketplace) – the Sosabee guy from the bike park in Cartersville wants it – I figured I “sort of” know him, so I’m not afraid to make the deal myself if Allan isn’t around.
It’s always nice to find out where you stand in society. I just started a qualification survey for a weeklong paid survey about razors and shaving cream. After entering my age (59), the second question asked, I was dismissed. I’m dead to product marketing…
Wordle in 4.

Of, that’s some trip!
That is a LONG drive! Who’s getting married?
I was just thinking yesterday about the InterAmericas has in New Orleans, and if we are going to fly, take the Amtrak, or drive.
Haven’t decided
If I were still a hasher I’d drive to NOLA for InterAmericas. Since I’m no longer a hasher, this is the first I’ve heard of it.

Allan turned on the AC last night – I had the heat on yesterday. I was like – why don’t you just turn the temp down? (insert rolling eye emoji here)
Kevin used to be like Allan but this winter he was cold the whole time. Last night he was complaining about being cold and the heat was at 69.

I heard there was some sort of scandal about shady business practices with her.
Was she the one not paying OT?
I can’t remember the details and after some medium-level googling can’t seem to find anything on the web, either. She must’ve scrubbed it.
In the second episode they are opening a store in Charlotte, which references the Atlanta location. Charlotte was also closed in 2022.
Wordle in 3 as well.

Good on ya on both accounts.
I have a lot of pasta in the house so perhaps I too will be making some pasta with tomato sauce soon as well.
We had leftover shepherd’s pie for dinner last night and watched baseball. Braves won, Sox lost.

I stopped answering those a while back… now I just look for the category “65 and OVER”!!
it doesn’t bother me.
But you, being female, your opinion is far more valued than us old white guys. We’re a dime a dozen…
ok – that made me laugh
