“You don’t ride BRAG to lose weight” said ITP-Reader Bob. The same is true for Spring Tune Up; I gained two pounds.

Wordle in 5 and had the word on my scratch pad, but played another first, so I’m counting it as a 4.

Glad the weather held out for you on STU. Seemed like perfect riding weather.

Saturday morning, after a trip to the dump and a haircut, I headed to the wilds of Cobb county to have the tires swapped out on my scooter- just the wheels and dropped them off at the shop. I figured a couple hours of killing time and they would be done. 4 hours later, after cruising the square and the protests, and wandering around the shop staring at the staff, they were done. By that time, my quarter had run out and I skipped the HS gathering.

Dinner Saturday at the Peachtree City Yacht Club. Much like EAYC, no yacht needed. Really good and we will go back.

Sunday was a chore day until the monsoon started. Watched SC get the tar beat out of them by UCONN while I rode for an hour. It wasn’t pretty.

Where did you get the tires? WOW shop?

      • Steve says:

Cycle Gear. I have dealt with them before in other locations and they have been fine. The store in Stockbridge no longer mounts tires, so this is the closest. I will be looking into buying a mounting tool. It’s possible to do like a bicycle tire, just MUCH harder.

If you don’t step on the scale, you’d just never know.

Good weekend, except bike issues & thus the abbreviated ride Friday.

Staying late Sunday to miss some of the rain didn’t work, still had a “fun” drive home starting at Stonecrest. Got the camper parked & unloaded in the pouring rain.
Since we never ate any lunch (beer & snacks don’t really count) we went out for a sushi dinner at 4:30pm.

We made it to Finn’s Buddy Baseball game with a minute to spare on Saturday. The weather was beautiful. After that we went to the General Muir for dunch. Yesterday was a great day to stay home and putter around the kitchen. I made shepherd’s pie and read my book.

  4. Still trying to get my shit together. After arriving home I crashed hard for some naps. I don’t sleep a whole lot when camping, and combined with dust and pollen, I needed sleep.

Waiting until Thursday to decide which of the far-too-tall tomato plants in the basement will be transplanted into WLF.

  5. Today is a great day for the large slug I see slowly slithering far enough from WLF greens that I let it live. It also reminds me of one of my favorite German words ”Nacktschnecke”, their noun for slug, which literally translates to “naked snail”.
