The other day I stopped into a South Carolina Goodwill and found the BluRay that I was seeking, Avengers: End Game. This movie was shot in part in Atlanta, and the Stark Industries building was the office building in which I was working when the movie was shot.

However, this Goodwill must have been smoking crack that day, because the BluRay was priced at $7.99! Remember, Goodwill most likely paid $0 for this…

I left the store without it.

Wordle in 6! Seriously? Coulda been 2!

Waiting for Debbie at the eye doctor. Glad we laft at 0600 for the 0730 appointment. Last time, Waze took us through town to 20, but not today.

I may be heading to Miami this weekend to fix a problem. Stay tuned.

40 minutes hard on the trainer.

1970s crockpot did not disappoint – the chili was cooked just fine.

Now to decide what to eat for dinner tonight.
It’s an exciting time here in Iowa
We did get some hail, and lots of rain yesterday.
phone says 28, feels like 12. I will not be leaving the house anytime soon.

    • Barb says:

oh yeah – watched the Iowa State women win their game last night – they were 1 of 4 games that then make it into the 64 team brackets.
I actually decided to pick teams this year – just for something to pay attention to while I’m up here.

The forecast for MA is pretty good — tomorrow while I’m traveling it will be 40s and raining but it’s a high of 60 on Saturday.

  3. Jenka says:

Successful haircut last night then home to white chicken chili over rice. I’ll put in another plug for Penzey’s spices, their southwest blend makes that dish amazing.

Sarah and I were supposed to go to a Hawks “meet the players” event tonight but I think we are going to skip it and get Pollo Primo take out and watch sports at her place instead.

  4. Speaking of food, yesterday I had lunch on Buford Highway at LanZhou Ramen Noodle. As the internet will tell you, it’s not authentic ramen. What I will tell you is that it’s delicious, hand-pulled Chinese noodles. I had the noodle soup with ox tail for $16.

Supply and demand Paulie 🙂 You have been searching for that DVD, how bad do you want it now that you found it.

Camper is sold! Guy is coming on Saturday with money to pick it up. Now the fun begins, what is next?
Bad part about selling the camper is now I have to sleep in a tent at BRAG STU 🙁 Sleeping on the ground with the thieves and deplorables as Sally stated. I’m sure it will be fine, worse case I’ll sneak in to Barb’s camper and sleep on the couch.

I got Wordle in 3 today! On guess #2 I had 4 letters correct but at least 4 words to choose from to complete.

    • Congrats on the sale! We lowlives who sleep on the ground welcome you, Bob.

There wasn’t enough demand for me to pay $8. I have built a nice movie collection that I should start watching more often.

    • Barb says:

      Bob –
1st – congrats on the camper being sold!
2nd – go rent a camper – its a good way to figure out what you don’t want on the next one you buy.
3rd- its only a loveseat – it not sure how comfy it would be to sleep – and – I get up to pee a lot – 😉

Wordle fail, last four letters in place on my third time, and the Wordle roulette gods chose not to smile on me today.

An amended divorce decree has to be issued because the opposing counsel misspelled my ex’s maiden name. ¯\_(?)_/¯ That’s all that’s changing though.

  7. Just learned how to use my iPhone’s camera to do translation. No, not for my German lock instructions, but rather for the Chinese cooking instructions on the package of noodles that I purchased yesterday.

  8. Barb says:

wordle in 4 – I feel accomplished after you guys failed.

  9. Steve says:

So much for a nice spring day to start the season. When we left home at 0600, it was warm and raining. Now it’s windy and cold! WTF, O?

  10. As I continue to track down shit that is getting blown around WLF I am calling 2025 “The Year of Blowing Wind” (which also seems apropos given who is once again ru(i)nning the country).
