I always forget how many famous, and attractive people, were in the movie Love Actually.
Wordle: three, my starter was PRIME

First!
A very nice, quiet weekend in the mountains. Friday the guy came and installed the new security system. The combo lock had not arrived yet so that will need to be installed later. Today is Finn’s 19th birthday but he’s with him mom tonight so we took him to Nakato last night for hibachi, as we do every year.
Monday!
Wordle in 5 and shoulda/coulda been 4. Yesterday’s HYENA was right up there with UVULA and it took me the better part of an hour- in 5!
Saturday’s hunt was a small field and little game, but the road whips (myself and others) got to see the hounds on the chase across a former tree farm now being developed. A single file line of hounds hauling A across the field- pretty cool.
We watched UGA un-hook the Longhorns, though when the overtime started, we were sure Georgia would have PTSD from the Tech game.
Yesterday, I dusted off the scooter for about 50 miles or so. I should have gone out on the pedal bike, but instead spent a half hour on the trainer.
Watching “Black Doves” on Netflix. Very intense spy vs spy, so no binging.
And sad news from the Border Terrier puppy world- Bennett can’t seem to get the job done. Fig has been “in the mood” most of the last week, but while Bennett is an eager participant, has yet to finish the job. We have a backup plan for the next heat.

It was amusing to watch Matthew McConnaghey on the sidelines of the Georgia-Texas game, he did not look happy. He and Nick Saban were chatting on the sidelines.
For some reason, my work PC couldnt make the above comment but my phone could. Screwy.
Going through the rigamarole of trying to cancel my AT&T internet and landline phone accounts. This will be war. I’m also preparing myself for the inevitable consequences of which I’ve yet to address.
When prompted as to why I am canceling one of the reasons I will supply is “the hour I just spent waiting to talk to an AT&T customer representative”.

This, of course, is by design. They want you to give up and not cancel. I had a rigamarole about resetting some PIN number that got established back in the 90s or something, and I couldn’t change anything about my account until I reset this number that no one knew how to reset. I talked to a bunch of people, and finally, eventually landed with some guy in Texas that absolutely knew his shit and got things sorted out. So hang tough, you’ll get it done once you work your way up the food chain.
I was going to pop in and command that I’ve actually never seen Love Actually.
I’ve only seen Love Actually maybe 2 times –
I know Love Actually gets a bad rap but I love it! I haven’t watched it in a few years, maybe I will this year.
Rewatch it, and you may be surprised how many faces you recognize.
busy weekend –
Friday night started to plan a last week of January trip to FL & to Key West – booked a hotel for M-W 1/27-1/29. Now to figure out the rest.
Saturday – ran errands, met my mid 90s roomie for lunch in Dunwoody (note to self – do not EVER go near Perimeter Mall on a Saturday)- and – we learned Iron Hill Brewery is closed on the weekends.
Hyox Christmas party was Saturday night – a nice evening – the entertainment was a very raunchy comedian – I don’t think Dr King was NOT overly pleased with his material.
Sunday – we went to Wheelhopper – Long & Red laid a great trail using ALL the Yellow River trails – and some that I think might not have really been trails.
AT&T service canceled, after I missed their attempts at calling me back earlier.
Making lunch and then need to go back up into attic to investigate new roof issue. It may be time to hit the bullet and have a new roof put on soon…
What will you be using for internet?
I forgot to mention that yesterday I made a soup out of the leftover honey-baked ham, with some leeks, cabbage, and potatoes, which Kevin reports is “deranged.” LOL!
deranged – so, did he like it? or hate it?
He liked it!
