    Wordle in 3 as well..

Of course, Friday we watched UGA try to lose to Ga Tech in 8 overtimes. Had UGA played the 4th quarter like the other 3, we would have been in bed much earlier.

Saturday was a hunting day- Debbie wasn’t mounted (hahaha) as Cash lost a shoe, so we were road whipping together. Not much to see, but the breakfast was good.

Sunday, Debbie rolls out of bed and says we’re going on an adventure. We hiked (!) at Spruill Bluff SP, which is on the Flint. Basically had the place to ourselves. We even took the little dogs. Lovely.

    good morning –
    busy enough weekend over here

Saturday decided to look at F250s – Wade Ford over on S Cobb has a Fleet division, so figured they’d have a decent selection to look at – the sales guy was ok, but not sure he really knew trucks. But – we looked at a few – and weirdly – the more base model might be what we are leaning towards someday. Some of the bells & whistles seem not that important (for the extra money)

Went for a walk in the afternoon to Aldi – its 4.5 miles round trip – its a little more than Publix & Kroger – those are closer to 4 miles. Since we only needed some frozen veggies for a Shepherds (aka Cottage) Pie, decided we should walk. I do have to say – this was one of my better ones – using some leftover mushroom gravy in it, and some leftover potatoes from Thanksgiving.

Sunday day we just goofed off here – put up the Christmas Tree, lights on the house, some laundry, the turkey stock was done – so put it into Pint containers then made a bunch of turkey soup as well. Allan also decided to make Chex Mix.

Went to Stone Mtn to see a Christmas concert – even took Mary A TJ – and they enjoyed it. Ate dinner at Marlow’s by Northlake – good enough waiter, but the food took forever even though it wasn’t busy (I don’t think it was his fault). Luckily some friends saved us seats.

Last faculty meeting of the year this morning, yahoo! I had a great weekend. Got off Wed at 2:00 and we got in some good day drinking at Six Feet. Thursday I made the whole meal and we watched football all day. Friday we decided to go to Kevin Rathbun Steak for early early dinner and we were there when they opened. Saturday we went to lunch at the Albert and otherwise watched football. Yesterday we — you guessed it — watched football. I made nachos for dinner. Kevin has been enjoying turkey sandwiches with all the fixins all week.

Barb, I am going to make a shepherd’s pie with the leftover turkey and mashed potatoes.

I seriously thought about making the shepherd’s pie with the turkey, but we had some mushroom gravy we had from a steak night, and wanted to use it (it was tasty)- so it “had” to be a ground beef one.

now – I do still have plenty of turkey – I may have to make a turkey shepherd’s pie next.
