    Wordle in 5- Debbie gets a half credit as I was going down in flames…

    I was exhausted all day yesterday, so basically collapsed when I got home from work. The free Thanksgiving lunch did not help, as I was all about the L-tryptophan in the afternoon.

    Looks like about a half inch of rain in the gauge. It woke me through the night.

    I woke up to the sound of rain this morning – that was a freaky thing I haven’t heard in forever.

      I should have been better prepared to catch rainfall, my capture bins were full of leaves.

      However, this weather is giving me an excuse to hobble around the house and perform much-overdue indoor chores.

    got Connections FAST – and seriously wasn’t sure I even had the answers correct.

      Yeah, Wordle was a teeth-gnasher today. The word came to me after 5 tries, but had to use Google to make sure I spelled it correctly so that I didn’t fat-finger my sixth attempt.

      In other news, I have about 200 of the 400 pages total written for the next edition of Excel for Dummies. I have exactly 60 days to get the other 200 pages written. What a fun book to write. The book is supposed to be chock-full of irreverent humor, kind of a spoonful of sugar to make the medicine go down. My most recent chapter includes shoutouts to Prince, Rudyard Kipling, Breaking Bad, dating apps, Nigerian princes, reality TV shows, and more. It’s a hoot!

    Long-ass four hour meeting this morning, ugh. It was very pleasant to wake up to the sound of rain this morning.

    Tonight I’m trying out a new yoga studio on DeKalb Ave next to Thinking Man. It’s like the only studio I can find that doesn’t do hot yoga. I hope it’s good!
