   Well, we didn’t get started until 5 PM central, it was still a pretty long night. I think I finally got to my room at 11 PM central. A little issue with video recording that wasn’t really related to what we were doing and that took a while to resolve

   I’ll go back in this morning and wipe the old switches in preparation for their shipment. Hope everyone has a good weekend.

   made it to Iowa – Lyft price was a little higher than the last time – but he was right there so I didn’t have to wait.
   driver was from Afghanistan – been in the US 2 years.

   Dad is still sleeping, looking like I need to go grocery shopping, I guess Tom thought I’d be bored.

       so Aldi is very close, and I forgot it doesn’t open until 0900am as I was driving there. Then I remembered the other Aldi (way far, maybe 10 minutes away) opens at 0830. Why they open at different times? Good question.
       Got some grocery shopping done.
       Get home & Dad is up – time for breakfast shortly.

           I’m not – I’m making some of the food my sister put in the freezer – Tom hasn’t been defrosting it – so I’m going to make a couple of those things.

   Symphony last night to hear Mozart’s symphony #40, which was lovely. They very helpfully put the timing on the program, and when we got to intermission and saw that the next symphony was going to be over an hour, we went home. It was a skool night and I had been out four nights in a row. Beforehand we went to Saints + Council again and had a lovely dinner of two substantial appetizers: the smoked Gouda arancini and the pork belly with polenta and collards.

   This afternoon we are heading to the cabin for what I hope will be a very restful weekend.
