So fed up with Connections today that I considered starting Wordle with ANGRY, but that has already been a solution.
Wordle: four, my starter was CRASH
Connections: fail, X > X > Yellow > X > X

Wordle in 3 and that was throwing something against the wall in 2.
A reasonably slow day yesterday. Everyone (the equines) played well together as far as we could tell.
Managed to get a solid 25 minutes in the trainer- pulled the trigger for Zwift again. Intervals after being off the bike for 3 weeks are no fun.

got Green, then Yellow no problem – then X-X-X-X
Wordle in 3 – that was a crazy guess that worked out
Nothing exciting around here – went to Mojave for dinner (down ITP because its o n the inside of – higher end Hispanic food – it was good, but again, not that great for the amount of money spent. Restaurants these days are just trying to make food so complicated it seems.
hit send when I wasn’t done fixing my sentence. Ooops.
Mojave is on Powers Ferry just ITP – I think it used to be originally a Chart House restaurant way back in the day.
I will have to check that place out next time I’m up near Kevin’s office. I love higher end Mexican.
The new Michelin guide is out for 2024 with some surprises. Fred’s Meat & Bread continues to be on the Bib list and they added Superica, too. Now you can go to Krog Market and eat at TWO Michelin Bib places! They also added a place called Whoopsie’s (which is the stupidest name ever) which is on Moreland just south of me. I knew it had opened but, perhaps because of the name, I ignored it. Now I will have to try it.
The Bib list- that name makes me laugh.
Whoopsie’s – is all their food weird combinations that came out good?
No, I can’t figure out why it’s called that. The food is like fancy food (entrees are in the $30s) served on plastic TV dinner trays. Ugh.
I had no idea that place was a restaurant. The fucking school lunch trays are a hard no for me. One of the owners also owns Rising Son in Avondale Estates, which is just lovely, but that’s still not enough to get me in the door at Whoopsie’s.
The fucking school lunch trays are so dumb. But I’m still going to give them a try.
Speaking of openings, Porter Beer Bar has reopened.
Yes, and they are *extremely* proud of their offerings, which is reflected in the prices.
Oh? That’s too bad. I’ve not been yet, just heard about it the other day,
Yeah, I’m on the fence about going to the Porter. Neither of us really drinks beer, so we would be going for the food. Might give it a shot, it’s so close to home.
the Porter beer that was over here not too far from me? With the horrible service & not that good pizza?
No, it’s in L5P.

Here’s a rare update, and information that most of the readership of this blog can use. I have shopped at two Goodwill stores today, and because it is Tuesday and I am over 55, saved 25% on my purchases.
well – I didn’t know about the 25% off – not that I really need anything, but maybe I should start looking around.
Well dang, I didn’t know about the over 55 discount either. I may have to do some shopping 🙂
