    A very long day of packing it all up. A good crew helps, but it’s still a lot of work.

    Debbie took Bennet to get his shots and apparently he’s freaking out. I have to go save him.

    busy morning – (busy day work wise yesterday)

    Bug guy came this morning – knocked down the very large & impressive Joro spider webs.

    Finally went to the new Brass Tap that opened down the street last night – impressive tap beer collections – I think about 50 handles. The one I picked keg blew as he poured. That was funny. Food seems ok, but a little pricy, but everything is pricy anymore.

    Kevin is getting his colonoscopy today so I’m sitting in the Emory Midtown hospital lobby working away.

    The Candler Park Neighborhood Association is trying to have Candler Park determined to be a historic district. Usually a historic district means homeowners have to adhere to the aesthetic rules consistent with the age of the neighborhood. There is a big fight in the neighborhood with very vociferous voices on both sides. Last night we went (via Zoom) to the meeting where it was discussed and we voted on the measure. They allow voting for 24 hours so we don’t know the results yet.

      Yeah, that was a thing in Grant Park. People find ways around it, where they keep the little bungalow facade on the front of a house, and blow out the back McMansion style, which is completely obvious from the street.

        Kevin lived through that in Grant Park so he’s adamantly against it. There are some zealots in Grant Park about the Historic District.
