    Yesterday there was something in the air, because the traffic was just downright outrageous. People were trying to turn left and holding up 20 cars behind them instead of turning around properly, or almost turning and then sitting there holding up both lanes of traffic. And every light had 100 cars in line so you had to wait two or three cycles. I went from my office to doggie daycare to pick up Ralph and then home, and there was no way I was going out again. I made a healthy chicken and veggie stirfry for dinner and we watched the first episode of the new season of The Great British Baking Show (thanks, Paulie!) and then Thursday night football.

        Here’s my theory on it: a few seasons ago the contestants got TOO good. I mean, they were practically professional bakers and the showstoppers were a little too perfect. I mean, no one with a normal job is THAT good at baking. So I think the producers went back to their amateur roots, which is what we’re seeing this season. I much prefer contestants who aren’t quite so polished.

    new E-Mtn bike day – we will see if I can figure out all the technology – just getting it set up, needing a app to get the shocks to the right amount, batteries in the tires – so you can check the app for the tire pressure – WHAT THE HELL???
    Anyway – it has assist – and I love that for the hills.
    And its yellow. That’s a new color for me.
