    how was the Pork Tornados band last night?

    Has everyone been able to ride together each day?

    Wordle in 4 with only green letters.

    A fairly quiet day. Still picking up the pieces of the Crowdstrike issues from Friday.

    Our farrier’s assistant came over last night to do some welding for us. The trailer has had a crack in the “landing gear” for some time and an access to get to the plumbing near the shop needed a proper plate cover where I cut a hole in the concrete for access. Welding is a skill I always wanted to have, but never acquired. While I can make a lot of things in wood, being able to weld would be so handy sometimes.

    Our friend Meg has pulled the trigger on a CX9, so I’m pulling the trigger on her CX5. Hopefully, I can get better mileage than she gets, but I already know it doesn’t have all the “zoom zoom” my 3 has. We shall see.

    The pictures of the crowds in the towns are amazing. I can’t even imagine. Do they say to walk beyond a certain point or is that just everyone being smart when you can’t ride slow?

      there’s just so many people – even the best track standers can’t get thru the towns without putting a foot down.

    Looks like everyone is having fun according to the pics on FB. Good for them!

    I have nothing to report because I got a nasty summer cold and have just stayed home for days watching Netflix.

        Yesterday I watched a limited series called The Flatshare about two broke people in London who share a flat. It was very entertaining!

        I’ve heard of Fisk but haven’t watched it yet.

    I’m trying to upgrade our phones – it so annoying – I feel like I need to go to a Verizon store to get this all straight.
    They are ordered – but I’m going to buy the cases & screen protectors in a store – how to decide on those online is really hard

      I prefer the range of options online. They’re never going to have what I want in-store.

        I like to see the cases to decide – and I will want the person at the store to put the screen protector on my phone for me (I’ve learned the hard way I suck at that)

    Hello from somewhere just outside Greenfield, Iowa. This is today’s first Iowa Craft Beer stop.

    Due to pain and/or tiredness I have missed most of the music. We mostly ride together, at faster than RAGBRAI speeds.

    I guess Paulie got too busy this morning –
    but an 80+ mile day was I’m sure a lot for everyone yesterday.
