Happy End of May!
Mary Mac’s was really good, especially if you enjoy fattening southern food. I ate chicken fried chicken, with macaroni and cheese, and fried okra. Delicious!
I feel so unprepared for BRAG. I still have to pack some things and hit the road later today headed for Savannah. Bob, I’m not sure when you are targeting to arrive, but I will be in touch later. I also have an unfortunate ant bite on my right leg, or at least I believe it’s an ant bite, that hopefully will go away during the first couple of days since it’s bugging me.

The Comcast install, a 20 minute job, took 3 hours as they had turned off upload traffic on our connection. Meanwhile, we wandered all the connections looking for it! Geez.
I drained, cleaned and refilled the hot tub over the last couple days. As I’m really the only user, I figured any germs were my germs, but maybe I can convince Debbie to join me.
I hope everyone has a good time on BRAG. I’ll be sweltering in Las Vegas at Cisco Live! which is always fun. Work, but fun.

That’s funny, yellow was the first one I got! We use those words a lot when talking about faculty research production.
Fun times on the ramble last night although I kept hearing Sally’s voice saying “don’t do anything stupid Bob” as I was trying to hop from one park bench to another 🙂
All my BRAG stuff is gathered, just need to stuff it into a bag and get rolling. I have this dumb job thing I have to attend to today so can’t get out until later. Not sure what time I’ll land in Savannah but I’ll keep you posted Paulie.

Most of or friends are getting to Conyers this afternoon, we will roll in whatever time after work.
My boss has been pretty lenient with me while I was in Iowa, so I’m not going to push it today by asking to leave too early.
Especially since I’m going back to Iowa again Monday night.
You’ve still been able to work from Iowa, right? Has the boss not heard of FMLA?
oh, I’ve been working the whole time – its been fine – but I haven’t taken any time off. He totally understands -but knows I’m back home, so to ask to leave early today seems to me to be pushing it.

Just finished testing my creek. Bike ride next. Yard work after that. Might pack tonight or wait until tomorrow.
Didn’t sleep enough, but got a good amount last night.
Now to get some laundry done & figure out what to take out to Conyers.
Luckily – I figured out my dress a few weeks ago – and Allan has his seersucker ready.
Gotta get a cooler together with drinks, etc too.

I can’t believe it’s the end of May already! Time flies. We are going to the movies tomorrow afternoon but otherwise no plans for the weekend. We get Finn on Sunday for two weeks.
used to be the summer solstice garden party, but its beginning of June this year, so now its just a summer soiree.
Its a bunch of our 90s Parrotheard friends – plus their Conyers friends.

What a hectic day thus far, compounded by the discovery that my plumbing work wasn’t 100% successful. Oh well, I will have to trust the Universe until I return.
