In the end it was a very boring Monday. I didn’t make the Lowe’s/Target/Kroger run to Edgewood Retail District as expected. While I did putter around WLF, I did not get around to cutting the wire for fall row covers. And I took a couple of naps. The most exciting thing was making dinner using some of the eggplant, pepper, and okra I harvested from WLF.
Setting you up for the spike: I find that I do worse in Wordle when the word is happy or joyous. For instance, MERRY never entered my mind yesterday. I had the same difficulty last week when the solution was SMILE, though at least in that case I got to the answer.
I’m headed for Silver Comet today with some trepidation since I am not in the physical condition I should be in to undertake a long ride. Wish me well…
I solved today’s Wordle in two attempts; my starter today was CLASH. Don’t call it a comeback, but it was a much-needed boost after yesterday’s failure.
I scored another perfect Connections, though I have a question/doubt about one of the items they grouped in today’s blue category.
Wordle in 4 starting with SUCKS. Funny…the blue category was the first one I got. Then two mistakes before solving the puzzle. I know your doubt about the one item grouped in blue. So as not to give a hint….we can discuss later while riding! :). Safe trip home for Barb.

I’ve been meaning to tell you there’s a Puzzle Library on McLendon west of Oakdale, about a half-block down, which may be another source for swapping out puzzles.

I’m now covid boosted and flu shot. The left arm is sore, but manageable.
We adjusted the trailer for the new truck. Our skinny little neighbor happened by (generally when he wants a shot of bourbon) and helped get it adjusted. We needed new safety cables as the new anchors are big, honking things. And we tested the lights- the truck has an app that lets you get out and walk back and look at your lights while the truck goes through the sequence. Wow…

We watched all 5 of the available Welcome to Wrexham season 2 episodes. That sounds like a lot but a couple of them were only 20 minutes long.

I’ve decided to get out of my own way and hire a virtual assistant who will start next week. I also got some decluttering done today. I moved some of my excess cardboard down to the street since it would fit in the bin. I’m starting to get a head of steam for a CHARM visit soon for the rest of it. I also disposed of a bunch of old food in the garage refrigerator that I no longer use. Apparently Georgia Power will pay me $35 if I let them haul it away.

Thanks, Jenka, I suck at asking for help. I have had assistants over much of my career. I had an amazing 9 year run with my last assistant that ended just before COVID. I didn’t need help during the pandemic, but I definitely need help now.
