Good day of recovery riding. Unfortunately rain arrived overnight and my tent isn’t as waterproof as I would like it to be.
Today’s destination is Madison. Hopefully it will be sunny there so things will dry quickly.
I solved today’s Wordle in three attempts; my starter today was LUNGE.

My plan to get halfway in the rod yesterday was foiled by rain and impending darkness. Almost made it to Charlotte but stopped in Gastonia for the night. Rush-hour in Gwinnett county was as you would expect it but actually not that bad. The bike ran well.
Still looking at options to avoid traffic if at all possible on my route towards Richmond.

National BMW rally. I went last year and it was a little fun. I’m hoping to find the right group and feel a little more included. We shall see. Next year it will be somewhere West, so not an option.

That’s going to be a lovely ride in and around Madison. Wordle in 3 starting with ADIEU. Swimming washed out because Jamie got stuck at his office but we still had our Fellini’s meet up. Memo to self, one slice was plenty.

I have nothing to report. This week is super quiet. I have been cooking every night and watching a lot of TV. I’m on vacation the next two weeks so I’m trying to finish up a big project.
I’ve been to Madison twice and think it’s super cute and quaint!
Since we’ve done Spring Tune Up out in Rutledge for some many years, it will be interesting having everyone in Madison again. I’m kind of wishing we had signed up for BRAG Lite, but my co-worker is getting married this weekend – so I couldn’t have gotten this part of the week off.
Didn’t get any rain here last night at all.
Allan is working a double, so I’m on my own again today.
But – I’m going to a wine tasting at Total Wine tonight with Mark (Annette is out of town for the weekend) – should be something different to do.
