Another good BRAG day, including a stop at the brewery in Jefferson.
Today is the layover day, and I am now digesting the breakfast I ate at Braselton Brewing, before going for a recovery ride. I’m sure I will find my way back to the brewery tonight.
I solved today’s Wordle in five attempts; my starter today was WIPER.
Wordle in 3, almost 2!!
Scooter ride in was a piece of cake. Getting everything loaded and secured a whole other matter. Laptop case included, which fortunately can stay here when I leave today and hopefully be serviced! I opted for the lighter jacket and its rain liner rather than the heavier jacket. The fact that I have the rain liner hopefully means I won’t need it.
We wrapped Ted Lasso last night.. I was a little disappointed. I was hoping for more.

Wordle in 4 starting with GRIND. I’ll take it. I get my first permanent crown installed this morning. I’m grateful that the temporary held. I’ve known at least a couple folks who had those fall off.
I’m going swimming at the Emory pool tonight with Jamie, who is an alum. Then I’ll unravel that exercise with pizza and beer at Fellini’s when we meet up with Scott.
David – finally got the Mini under 1 minute – you should have it in 30 seconds?
Wordle in 5 – way too many consonants choices.
Went to PT for my lower back – she got it loosened up, but I don’t think just PT & stretching is enough of a solution. I go back again tonight – we might try dry needling? If it doesn’t cost me extra – why not?
Mexican dinner with the in-laws – it was Mary’s birthday – & now that TJ isn’t doing races all the time eating too much Mexican food, he doesn’t even mind going.
19 seconds. 🙂
Paulie – Braselton Brewery has breakfast? IS this a special occasion?
How’s Travis doing on the coffee selling gig?
I looked up the Ride Guide – looks like Braselton has some good options of things to do today for the rest day.
We are hoping to meet y’all on Saturday at the Dam – or at the rest stop right after the dam. We will be on our mountain bikes.
Special opening for today
As active as you all were over the weekend, I was a slug. Which was great after 2 weekends in a row out of the house.
Yesterday I reached 500 days on Duolingo. One lesson a day!
David, reading your comments from yesterday, Deepdene and Frazier Forest were two of our regular dog walking places during the pandemic. Then we’d walk home along Ponce and hit Olmstead as well.
You couldn’t ask for a better dog walking route! Lucas and I agreed that we are taking our dogs there for sure. Our old dog won’t be able to hack the harder trails, but she’ll be fine on the easy ones.
Wheelhopper has ridden thru all of those parks at different times over the years, and of course the running hash has gone thru those as well.
“Recovery” Ride done. Don’t know when motions will be made to do other activities.
how many miles was today’s ride?
38. A lot of wind today but otherwise okay
