Oh hi! I got sidetracked this morning starting a new jigsaw puzzle and forgot to blog.
Other than a quick run to Stockbridge to hit up an Ollie’s and Lowe’s, it was a fairly normal Wednesday. I worked in WLF, and made a polenta and sausage meal for dinner.
I solved today’s Wordle in four attempts; my starter today was SPARE

And then there were 3. We paniced just a bit as we were on the way to the pickup when they called to tell us they closed at 10PM! I had wondered what their hours might be, but never acted. We flew pretty low up 85 and arrived in time. We weren’t the only folks picking up- a pack of greyhounds were being led out as well.
Fig spent the ride home on Debbie’s lap and apparently had a fairly quiet night.
David, I just saw your question from yesterday this morning. We process “unfit” currency daily in the office. The machinery can send a note to the shredder
utomagically. Contaminated is most likely drug money and they were taking it to the incinerator in Cobb Co.
I did get a good session on the trainer in before we went to get the puppy whilw I watched yesterday’s Volta stage.

There was fog on Moreland starting at Freedom Park.
That’s why I like to stay south of I-20. LOL
And I’m starting a rumor of a TC get together at PCM. We need to find a time Allan isn’t working. Friday or Saturday evening sometime soon…

PCM is in the city limits of ATL, so Allan could attend in uniform if he is working.
I’m out of town in Iowa the next 2 weekends (but Allan is here), April 7 & 8 are free (Easter weekend if that matters to anyone), then the next weekend after that is Spring Tune Up.
The 7th is our anniversary, but we were thinking maybe the 8th. After that, I’m off working bike races for the rest of my life!

I’m going to be at Lake Wedowee in Alabama that day, otherwise I would be putting it on my calendar.

Yup… I had the date wrong!! Not sure of my work schedule for that Saturday but I’ll pencil it in..depending on what time y’all are going to meet. Still Bob should come to the Easter ride! 🙂

Wordle in 5 starting with LEAST. Frustrating, I had the first three letters in place in two, but then I had to keep putting coins in the slot until everything turned green across the board.
Today’s musical selection on the way back from dropping my kids at school was Metallica, full-blast of course, because there’s no other way to listen to Metallica. It definitely helped turn my shitty mood around.
I was certain that my fourth guess was correct, not knowing it was a previous answer.
Here’s hoping your mood turns around soon. My “pissed off” music is either Hüsker Dü, or Rage Against the Machine.

My lizard friend, not a euphemism, is loving the sunshine, and heat being put out out by my fire, and is sunning itself this morning.
LOL. My Chihuahua-pit bull mix dog is doing the same. His name is Eddie, and yes, he’s a total mess.
Just accomplished a WLF first: making a salad of lettuce leaves and a small carrot, all sourced from the farm. 😀
Met a work colleague at Taqueria del Sol last night, it was excellent as always.
