It wa 55°F warmer compared to the last time I hopped into the M6 for a Florida trip, and there is no concern of pipes freezing. For this I am thankful.
I failed to solve today’s Wordle; my starter today was BREAD. For this I am not thankful.

Of course I believe the words I guessed today were far better than the solution. 🙂
Hello from Buc-ees, where I have found the only thing I dislike because I have been reprimanded for it twice now, and that’s putting coffee into the cups for iced tea. Oops.
I think the only appropriate response is “Coffee, tea, or me?” But also, damn, dude, you must have been seeking one helluva sized cup of coffee. I mean, just grab the urn instead! 😉
is it because you are getting too much coffee? OR, because coffee is too hot for the ice tea cups? Inquiring Monds over here.
I want to know this too and the suspense is KILLING ME.
It appears the coffee “large” is smaller than the tea “large”. Both cups are styrofoam so should be capable of holding hot liquids.
Wordle in 6. Typical day with 4 correct letters in 4 and then letter roulette.
I clearly haven’t been walking enough as I can still slightly feel the effects of Monday’s 2 hour walk.
Good luck with your mom, Paulie.
Yesterday I caught up with a consultant that I have collaborated with off and on for over 20 years. We last talked prior to the pandemic. I learned that her husband was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer in January 2022 and passed away in April 2022. It was definitely a sobering reminder to make every day count as best we can. Carol is doing remarkably well in spite of the circumstances. I’m glad we were able to catch up.
Wordle FAIL! That’s 2 days in a row. And I can’t say I’m a fan of the word, either.
A quiet day in the office yesterday-head down, doing some needed paperwork which will help a lot going forward. Very satisfying.
A little ride yesterday to get the lactic acid out. More of a ride tonight.
Drive safe. Word to you mother.

Hello from Rest Area 6 in Lenox, GA. True to form I passed two speed traps, one near Cordele and one in Sycamore.
That’s where Debbie got pinged! Be careful.
Two minutes after leaving that rest area I saw someone I’d just seen leaving the rest area pulled over.
Bill Callahan has an excellent song called Sycamore. It pops in my head every time I ride my bike to Stone Mountain and go down Sycamore Street in Decatur.
On this day in History (2-22-2010):
“Congratulations to Paulie (InsideThePerimeter) for winning FIRST PLACE at the Roswell Photographic Society monthly review. Way to go ITP!”
It seems like only yesterday.
Kind of.

Watched The Fablemans last night (got it from Red Box & went old school & watched it on a DVD player). Steven Spielberg is nominated for Best Director & not sure what else for this movie. I found it interesting.
Had dinner & spent the night over at Annette & Mark’s to test out their guest bed mattress (its a foam Tuft & Needle). We are trying to determine what sort of mattress to put in the camper, as we want a better one than the one it comes with. Its firmer than our preferred firmness on our Sleep number bed.
I think we need to go to a mattress store & see all the options.
We went to Iberian Pig for dinner last night, excellent as usual. Then we watched a couple episodes of Welcome to Wrexham, which we are LOVING.
This week is ridiculously busy at work, next week probably will be, too. Ugh!
Safe travels, Paulie!
Allan finished off the Wrexham show without me, (basically binged it while I was working) but its ok – he told me all about it.
Kevin is ridiculously smitten over it, he’s calling it his favorite show. I am enjoying the Ryan and Rob eye candy (yes, Paulie, men are objects)! 🙂
Oh I’d do Ryan, and perhaps Rob. 😉
After not being able to walk up or down stairs since Sunday I decided to go to the doc to look at my knee. He thinks I have bursitis so ice, rest, and PT for me. Whatever makes this pain go away I’ll do it.
Safe travels Paulie! Did you call AT&T to have your hot spot turned on? If I recall correctly we didn’t have to pay any more, just had to call to turn it on.
Ouch, Bob, I have so been there, and more than once. PT is always my friend whenever my knee flares up. Ask about dry needling, that always does wonders for me.
Bob, you’re way too young to be putting up with this! Hope it gets better quick- can ride much of anything with a bum knee.
when I crashed on my mountain bike a few years ago, I messed up the bursa sac in my elbow – I had a big lump of fluid that needed to be drained. but – once it went back to normal, I was ok. Hope your bursitis goes away soon.
Wordle in 6 – didn’t think I had any chance of getting it.
Its Ash Wednesday – trying to decide if I will attempt to give anything up for Lent. I’m such a horrible Catholic, its not like its for any real reason beside just to do it.
Thought about giving up fried food – but really, just fried sides like french fries & tater tots. I’d really like some fish & chips today, that was the usual Ash Wednesday food growing up. And – we are going out to AZ in a week & a half, do I want to mess with my vacation dining? So, will I do it? who knows.
Wordle fail starting with THEIR. At least I’m in good company. And I thought my word picks were more interesting than theirs as well.
Quick trip to the vet clinic this morning with my friend’s mare. We’re getting ready for baby making!! Harry went along to get his paperwork for returning to Florida.
I hope the Lenox rest area had very nice amenities that I helped fund.
Haha, it had a clean bathroom, that is all I noticed.
Made it to Florida. Having a beer at a local brewery, Swamp Bottom.
Final drinking spot for today, Caledonia, has “Punk and Hardcore Music Trivia” tonight. I’m sure I’d be much worse at this than I think, but I wish that I could return tonight to try…
