I solved today’s Wordle in four attempts; my starter today was CHART. I can’t seem to crack the three or fewer guess club again.

    NYT Mini Crossword in 39 seconds.

    Not a clue on Heardle.

    Wordle in 3 finally starting with SLANT. I use BRICK as my second word any time the first word strikes out.

    43 seconds on NYT Mini. No chance in hell on Heardle.

    This morning is the last of my twice a week PT sessions for my arm. I have 2 or 3 once a week sessions after this and then I’ll be done with that. It’s shocking how fast a limb atrophies and how long it takes to recover. Pretty much the only thing I can’t do with my arm now is extend my arm straight past my head when trying to do a full body stretch when laying flat in yoga.

    Wordle FAIL!

    I think I’m packed and ready to roll. We shall see. Already had to swap folks rolls around as the chief judge can’t make it- family emergency.

    I got 17 hot ones yesterday afternoon. Seemed there was no relief. Even the shade was hot!

        Para Nationals. I was going to be just a comm, but got promoted to chief referee. yippee. More headache than I want, but maybe I score some points with USAC.

    Mini in exactly 1:00. Wordle – took all 6.

    Its interesting to try to work with visitors in the house, but got enough done.
    Katrina & I decided to leave the 3 kids with the grandparents last night, we went & got pedicures & then drinks & a little dinner. Drank enough, I’m feeling a little sluggish today.
    Who knows what is on the agenda today for them – but dinner here for everyone – I think.

    First reccy for final trail done. Damn it’s hot. Now to clear something with Sani. It won’t be the greatest trail, but it will be my last, assuming my family drama doesn’t require me to go to Florida.

      Also, found a piece of glass stuck into one of my car tires. Trying to figure out what to do about it.

        Drive it to the tire store. Let them pull it and see what happens.

        The park where the races are being held is amazing. Was a munitions “plant” I think as far back as WW1. Built into the hills, and they built the VW plant next door. I did 3 years of pro roads TT at theVW plant and had no idea this was hiding here.

          Yeah, I did that before. It’s just believe it or not I don’t have a lot of time in my schedule. Perhaps I can try first thing in the morning and push Saturday’s activity to Sunday. And, I feel that I am getting pressure to go to Florida. Fuck.

          Went to tire shop near Barb. Barb, figured you were busy with guests. Guy laughed when I asked if the small piece of glass would be a problem. In, and out, no cost to me. Time will tell if he was correct.

            they are all over at Breaststrokes pool right now – heading over to join them now. Then dinner here on the deck – we get to SWEAT!
