Project #1 under the new regime, a bootcamp project to introduce me to the tools used — instructions are out of date, unclear, and missing information. I am unimpressed.
Yesterday was spent sitting through meetings. I need to get out.
I popped over to Bonnie’s for a couple of hours last night, catching up on the weekend’s activities, and giving her the Buc-ee’s (all this time I’ve missed the possessive apostrophe!) koozie that I purchased for her as thanks for swinging by the ITP Estate and checking in on things.
Today? More frustrations at work and then hopefully a fun evening hanging out with Betsy.
Here’s a bit of good news however, I have paid off my iPhone’s loan! Come this fall I will most likely upgrade to the latest/greatest and start another loan…
Hope your world is not frustrating you.
I guess COVID is “over†as the Red Cross workers weren’t masked up at the blood drive yesterday. I was. I was *really* tired yesterday and all I can attribute it to was donating blood. I laid on the couch all afternoon and couldn’t even make dinner. I wasn’t this tired last time. 🤷ðŸ¼â€â™€ï¸
The husband comes home in an hour and will be home through Saturday. Hopefully I can convince him to do some fun stuff this week. Speaking of, I better go finish up some last-minute chores. ðŸ˜
MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! 🙄
Interesting on the Red Cross, the blood drive I went to at Truist Field last week they were all wearing masks.
I wore mine & wear one in crowded places.
The Delta variant is a little scary.
Must. Remember. To. Apply. Mosquito. Spray.
Once again my legs have been eaten alive.
Went out to stake some more tomato plants. I have learned a lot thus far, next year will be much better…. or so I hope.
My tomato plants have grown quite tall, but some have almost no fruit still. The black cherry one is crazy, it is draped across the nearby cages, it has lots of fruit. The rest, (the bigger tomatoes) are disappointing.
I did a poor job understanding what type of support each plant would need. I am getting fruit, but I also have soooo many plants.
Got up early & went for an hour walk (almost 4 miles) with Sal & another friend Kirsten around the neighborhood.
Last night cooked up the chanterelle mushrooms Head Nurse gifted me, they didn’t thrill me. Maybe I didn’t cook them right, or enough. Who knows.
I think I’m helping Annette go get a grill with Allan’s truck. Save a delivery charge.
Nice, I wish I had such ambition these days.
And good on you! I decided to buy my new 22†kettle grill via Amazon in order to have it delivered free.
I walked into Willie’s in Norcross last night, after driving almost 2 hours (!!) and everyone had a mask on. I guess us folks in the hinterlands aren’t in with the in crowd. No one in the Games meeting wore a mask. And if I’m not working on the day of the meeting next month, I’ll phone it in.
The breaker keeps tripping, but I have a new one and will replace it tonight when I get home.
Missing today’s stage of the TdF, so no spoilers, please. And staying off FB since they also have a way of letting the cat out of the bag.

It’s Bastille Day so you know Thomas Voeckler will go for the win. 😂 Fear not, I won’t spoil it for you.
Just dumped another bag of potato plants. It was another disappointing yield, but better than nothing I suppose. Plant and learn…
Picked some green beans for lunch. Have seen that I have a crop of long purple eggplant near ready for picking, and oh my, there are more huge cucumbers out there!
Huge cucumbers, that means you need to pick them!
Yeah, I’ve picked many but need to get those too.
Well shit. I just went out to get my mail and there was a rabbit in my front yard. Seriously? I don’t need any more animals with which to contend. 😞
