Morning all.
So far so good with the recovery from yesterday’s surgery. A big shout of thanks to Bonnie, who drove me to the hospital very early yesterday, returned to pick me up afterward, and spent the night to ensure nothing bad happened. Of course COVID made the overnight a little more difficult since we tried hard to stay cognizant of the dangers of the virus. We watched some videos, ate dinner, and both of us turned in early to get a much-needed good night’s sleep.
Today I will mill about the house on crutches, will attempt to log onto to work for awhile, and follow the necessary steps — drink water, flex my legs, etc — for my recovery. Tomorrow morning I have a follow up exam and suture removal, from there I will set up physical therapy appointments.
Hope you had a healthy and happy Hump Day.
Sounds like all went well. Stay on top of that PT to keep the big pain at bay.
Will do. Thanks.
Great news! And I’ll give Bonnie a shout out, too.
Today I finally get to try and stretch and attach fence to posts. This will be a challenge in places, as I’m working through the tree line and can’t drive the tractor. I think I will be able to bring the hand truck through and carry the roll of fence that way. We shall see.
Got my 2021 road assignments- Anniston and Collegiate Roads in Augusta, and Tour of the Gila in New Mexico!! I hear it’s a PITA to get there, but a great race.
