I expected to be out in the yard again this morning. Yesterday’s hard afternoon rain would certainly make pulling weeds (English ivy) in moistened soil easier, but honestly I am feeling a bit tired and lazy, am a bit time constrained again, and do not want to suffer any more ant bites prior to going camping this weekend. Assuming the grass is dry tomorrow I’ll get my fill of yard work tomorrow morning by mowing the front lawn after packing up the car for the weekend.
Yesterday was a busy day, unfortunately I was not as successful at being productive as I hoped. I was able to put in 45 minutes on the trainer in the morning (something I wish I was capable of doing when I am done with this post but I am too tired), went out running errands for awhile, did work, and did a little German studying.
I may have found a replacement for the bins that I attempted to buy at Lowe’s yesterday. The replacement bins are from Amazon, aren’t as large, and may not be as sturdy, but are a few bucks cheaper and are almost guaranteed to be in stock when I go to Amazon.
Today will be all about work, gathering camping gear, and getting through German class. Oh boy!
Hope you are remaining healthy.
Camping! Squeeee! Busy day as well. I may also go early vote today. Ate dinner with the husband at Elder Tree last night (on the patio). We thought we’d miss the DUFF hash’s arrival, but several had started to arrive so we hung around for a few minutes. Introduced the husband to a few people and to all the new owners of the place. I bought a raffle ticket for the Champions League / Heineken fooseball table, so Paulie that’s going in your basement if I win. 😄

How’s the menu at Elder Tree these days? Has it changes much? Are there more vegetarian options?
I didn’t really look as it was half-price burger night. ðŸ˜
So how would I find out if we have runoff voting to do? I don’t believe there are any statewide offices, are there?
When we left the house yesterday- me to work and Debbie to go pick up Phinney from Middle GA. The big yellow equipment the logger left Tuesday night was sitting. By the time I got home, he had most of the “front yard” done!! AS I came down the road, there was a lot more light hitting the road and I knew he had started. We weren’t sure when, so apparently, it was yesterday!! I do have some before pics of the “back yard” prior to mulching, and shot some of the same video yesterday- before he takes out any trees.
It was a long day in the office. Not used to being on my feet so much. A few tasks completed and some closer to completion. A good day topped off by a haircut!

I use this: https://www.mvp.sos.ga.gov/MVP/mvp.do
And does it show you the races that are still in play? Mine shows me nothing, which may be the answer.
The site is definitely confusing. Click the Sample Ballot link. In Atlanta there’s only three things to vote for, District Attorney, Sheriff, and a Judge. You probably don’t have anything to vote for in your district.
I guess considering I don’t see a sample ballot, there must be nothing to vote for.
Wow, I really was tired because I just woke up again. I think I slept for about ninety minutes after posting the blog.
😮
Still not sure if we are going to venture up to the BYOB hash.
We will decide Saturday……
Allan is working at Atlanta Cycling building bikes today.
Someday I’ll get my e-bike…..
Happy National IPA Day everyone! I could use a beer, and will definitely drink at least one during German class tonight.
